You mean in the new millennium where we won 2 National Titles? What was aTm doing?
Besides getting stomped 77-0 by Oklahoma?

LSU probably has to win four of those to have a chance to finish with a better record than A&M and Bama and three to win more than Ole Miss.
Georgia L
Florida W
A&M L
Bama L
Ole Miss L
Yep, definitely going to be 4th place in the west.

Nice crystal ball. Will you tell me if I'll get a raise at my job this summer, or should I seek new employment?

Nothing moral about it. We actually DID finish #5 in the country
Why do you think LSU fans have been so uptight for the last few years? It's not about bowl wins and top 5 finishes.

Yes.

All of these teams have question marks just as big as LSU does.
And yet four will be ranked higher than LSU to start the year. Weird.
Ole Miss and Florida have big question marks, but both had even more last year and LSU had moderate to low success against them. Bama, A&M and Georgia are unanimously, by every unbiased source you can find, expected to be better than LSU next season. Question marks or not, that is telling.

Do we really need to go back and show how preseason polls have worked out in the past?
You're better than this.

I think they win two (Florida and Ole Miss or A&M). I am 100% not trolling when I say I'd be SHOCKED if they beat Bama or Georgia on the road.
Even if LSU goes 5-3 in the SEC, A&M and Bama's schedules make them a lock for third with that record. If one of those three losses is to Ole Miss, watch out for 4th.

I think Bama wins again (I hope not)
But I don't think LSU finishes second. I think A&M or OM gets 2nd.

That...........tends to happen sometimes when you lose your last game of the season.

We sucked against Florida. They also game planned really well against us and worked us over. I'll give you that. We beat Ole Miss. Let me repeat that for you, since you don't seem to understand how losses work - we beat Ole Miss. We had a higher score at the end of the game than they did. We put more points on the board. That's how you win a football game.

Those same unbiased sources expected LSU to be a very mediocre team in 2011, and they also think LSU lost 13 starters this year.
A&M will lose in Baton Rouge. They have absolutely no chance.

Considering it's going to be a 2:30 game, we had a perfect road record last season, you lost all of your DL capable of containing Johnny, and our offensive scheme will actually be fully in place unlike last year? Absolutely.

Interesting, everyone said the same thing last season right before we played Bama.

Fran + Sherman + 15 uears of irrelevance + 77-0 = We'll take #5 and our Heisman and drink to them

your reply argued turnovers are lucky accidents and ignored the yardage in the 4th came when the game was out of reach.
so yeah, i read that and obviously disagreed

Does your team get a trophy for that? If not, what's the point?

I do find it comical that people think we lost 13 starters. Also how people forget how many top 5 recruiting classes LSU has.
LSU reloads and now has an OC with half a brain. LSU has just as good of chance at winning the west as anyone. There will be no blowouts this year in the west.

I like that everyone is doubting the tigers. Reminds me of 2011 when we supposedly had to replace SO many starters
