Alabama is better on both sides of the ball and will win this game handily.

I think this game will be close. I know, I said that about OM so lol @ me but I really do.

Also, I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop with Daboll. A failed NFL coordinator isn't gonna keep plowing over defenses forever.

True Fact:

Sumlin has more home losses than either Dennis Franchione or Jackie Sherrill and as many as Mike Sherman.

I have been pleasantly surprised with A&M this year. I think they are a 9 win team honestly if sumlin can keep them focused.

True fact: Kevin Sumlin has the second highest winning percentage among Texas A&M coaches over the last 80 years. Only RC Slocum has a higher winning percentage than Sumlin. Be careful what you wish for.

It's like they don't realize that they're an 8-9 win team. You are who you are, Aggies.

I doubt losing the Alabama is a nail in anyone's coffin. Bama is a championship level team and has been for a while.

Now if he loses to LSU again, that could be a big nail.

Losing to Alabama is not a heavily weighed factor for coaches. Now beating Alabama is a different story, it comes with phrases like out coaching and such.

Everyone remembers beating Bama for me it was 2011 in the 9-6 blow out, shoot-out.

If he gets shut out, he would be the first A&M coach to get shut out at home since GENE STALLINGS in 1971.

The impending Bama beat down is irrelevant.
No AD in the country expects his coach to beat Saban.

As much as it will disappoint many of my Aggie brothers here, I just don't see much of a chance that Sumlin won't be returning to College Station next year.

Funny. I remember something similar said about Franchione.

If the running game gets shut down, they keep Hurts contained, and Alabama can't throw the ball then I think we can all agree they won't do well offensively. Like every other football team from Pee-Wee to the NFL. The devil in the details is actually doing all three of those things.

Not quite my point. I was specifically addressing the options mentioned by the text I was replying to and asking whether Dabol will prove to be adaptable. That's a legitimate concern for any new coaching hire faced with a major test.
