Will Texas finally beat Ohio State this year?

Or will they continue to embarrass The SEC ?
They lost in Dallas in the playoffs.
They lost in Columbus.
If they can't beat them in Austin, at night, then I'm not sure they ever will.

If Texas doesn't make the CFP this year I think Sark is out. They have the roster to go all the way in 2026.

I trust Day and his staff over Sark. OSU is missing a ton of production on defense but not sure if Arch will take the jump to overcome.

Ya Texas needs to eventually win one of these "titan" games. Georgia has owned them in the premium matchups, as has Ohio State. I guess you can look at Bama in 2023, but they were just so mediocre at the beginning of the season that it feels different (look at the South Florida game).
FWIW I think there's a fair chance Sark moves back to the NFL this season regardless.

Who knows. He needs to win the game, but if he doesn't, it won't be the end of the world. They'll still have a shot at a great season. Losses to Ohio State, OU and A&M would be a disaster for Texas since they can win every game.

They got embarrassed last year with 40 mil roster
This year it’s over 50 mil
They absolutely should win especially since Ohio state is in full rebuild and Utrans has an experienced and uber expensive team

Texas will have 3 regular season losses, maybe 4. OU, LSU, LSU, Ohio State.
If they’re not careful… Tenner will spank them too. Luckily they have 2 FCS Texas schools on their schedule to boost their record

False information, Texas doesn’t schedule fcs teams like the sec team have always done. One time in 34 years
Why Texas Avoids FCS TeamsThe 2006 exception happened purely due to a scheduling anomaly. Texas needed a final non-conference game at the last minute and refused to sign a home-and-home agreement with standard FBS teams. Sam Houston State agreed to a one-time payout to fill the slot.Aside from that single game, the Longhorns athletic department consistently schedules exclusively against FBS-level opponents.

It was a joke, and I was being sarcastic. You are playing two really small Texas schools to beef up your schedule. Congrats

With Sark? I'd say there's about a 95% chance OSU wins that game.
Sark hasn't magically learned how to be an elite play caller. He's still the same coach who hasn't yet figured out how to score inside the 10 yard line.
Yet the media and a lot of our fanbase call him an "elite offensive mind"...which cracks me the frick up every time I hear it.
We ranked 9th...NINTH in total offense in the SEC last season with this "offensive guru"

You should probably not talk about Texas football last year…like at all.

Why the whole country watched the 40 mil team that was supposed to go undefeated almost lose 5 games
It was entertaining

I got to tip my hat to Texas for scheduling.
Texas losing to us isn't reason to fire anyone.

They can lose each of those games too.

Sark would bolt for a nfl head coaching job if he could
