For a program that thinks they’re the greatest thing to ever happen to college football? Yes, seeing as how that’s right about where Virginia Tech, Arizona State, and Miami of Ohio sit in terms of all time win%.

What do you think of .600? Great? Would you be happy if y’all were .600 over the next 15 years?

In all reality, I’m right. Just like I was about Chavis, Sumlin, Herman, Burrow, Orgeron, Bielema, and a bunch of other things that opposing fanbases collectively shite on me over until it actually happened.

LSU never did shite before Saban got there and Miles backed a 2 loss team into a title on Nick's momentum.

You guys have about the same amount of success as Auburn

I'm pretty sure Alabama will be able to hire a Les Miles quality coach to replace Saban.

The 1990s was LSU's dark age for the most part. Before that it was arguably a top 10 program. But yes Saban does deserve all the credit in the world for awakening it

The alabama fanbase has two fears when it comes to nick saban. First and foremost, they're terrified his replacement search will turn into some sorta post bryant shitpile and secondly, that he'll hold on to the bitter end the way some of these other old man coaches have done.

Well there it is. Your entire premise. Prove LSU can reload and be consistent. Maybe someone will listen then.

Well considering your entire argument is about removing 38 years of Alabama’s resume, yeah it’s still solid. Let’s take away every programs best coaches and see how it stacks up.

My god this board has gone to shite. This is why we cant have nice things. 1 win for LSU against Alabama and its like football started being played this week. Some of you cant enjoy the ride that your own without comparing it Alabama's run. You guys are having such a great season and great team but just seems like yall arent enjoying it because all u wanna do is talk about how its over for Alabama lol.

You’re one of the dumbest people on this website and you’ve proven that over the course of 40,000 posts. Your entire fanbase absolutely melts down if anyone says anything slightly negative about Alabama and says how stupid it is because “Bear Bryant and Nick Saban”, while your fanbase would FREAK the frick out if y’all were anywhere near .600 in the coming years.

There isn’t a single Alabama fan on this website who would accept .600 post-Saban, but I’m an idiot for saying that regressing back to your 38 year non-Saban-and-Bryant average would be a disaster and viewed as mediocrity. And your rationale is that that argument is stupid because Bear and Saban happened. Ok

Yeah take away John McKay and Pete Carroll and USC never did shite. Without Woody Hayes and Urban, Ohio State sucks!

He would be too big to fire at whatever shite team you support, not at Alabama. No coach is bigger than Alabama.

Saban could go on a Les miles like run of 5+ years of 9-3, 10-2..... and BAMA wouldn't fire him.

I don’t see him doing that. I do think he will have a plan in place for Alabama when he retires. But I don’t see him hanging on just to hang on

LSU's basketball coach did that just last year.

Saban has earned the right to coach pretty much as long as he wants. If he becomes a dottering old fool like Paterno and Bowden and the program really starts to drift then probably the powers that be step in.....Saban is smarter than that I/m/o and will know when the time is right just like Bryant knew.....
