I don’t think very many people out side of USCe fans think USCe has a better HC then UF now .

Will is a good football coach he just doesn’t fit UF. There’s nothing wrong with that.
Amen ... and no there's not a single thing wrong with that friend.

He seems to be a perfect fit here, so far. Time will tell but he may have been custom made for us.

While I believe Muschamp being at South Carolina definitely spices up the game vs Florida, most UF fans like him and don’t look at it that way. Sorry
It's an interesting and almost ironic thing ... this SC-UF connection for the past 13 years really.
Started with SPURrier coming out of retirement and coming here and having some success.
Now it's mUSChamp ... and let's face it, when UF fired Boom UF fans hated him. Never gave him credit for the mess he had to clean-up that Urbie left behind.
Then there's the whole SPURrier and mUSChamp thing ... that's just an act of god, plain and simple, almost biblical. You can't make those kinds of signs from the football gods up .... they're looking-out for us.
But in the end there's always been a little border thing going-on with UGA and us ... one which UGA dominated last century but is certain to grow in intensity this century and one that has, not only the border war thing potential, but Boom is a UGA grad and he and Kirby are former teammates and all plus SC recruits GA heavily ... so it has far more potential for rivalry status over the next 20 years or so.
I wouldn't worry UF ... y'all will always have The Vols and you're likely to dominate that one for the foreseeable future.
I've always liked the LSU-UF thing y'all have going-on as well.
And as long as the HBC and Jeri keep recruiting for us, well we're golden with sharing them with y'all.
I like Florida. Got a lot of friends in Florida and especially Gator fan friends from my daughter living down there with her husband and our days in Mt Dora.

Holy shite. Never mind USCe, you need someone to look after you.

Ya think?
lulz
Well, that must make it right then I guess, huh?
Here again, time will tell.
In the meantime I will tell you one thing, and you take it fwiw. I think many people "think" mUSChamp is a better recruiter than Mullen, a better evaluator of talent and I also think many people "think" mUSChamp has assembled a better staff.
Now, does that translate into mUSChamp being "a better HC than UF has now?" I dunno, but those things seem like a pretty important part of a HC's responsibilities, or am I wrong?
Here's another interesting tidbit I heard up in The Perch at the baseball games this weekend. Heard that Boom's new Director of Football Ops, the one released by Mullen that Boom had been wanting to hire since he was hired here ... he evidently has said the two programs are going in different directions from his perspective. Of course his perspective is probably a little biased given the circumstances stances and all ... but based-upon some of the stories coming out of Gainesville these days, apparently there are some organizational issues from the top down and Mullen is going to have a difficult time navigating them if something doesn't change. He's evidently not the micromanager most of the true Saban disciples are ... he's more of the Urbie type. And we all know where that led you the last time.
Just sayin' ... and not trying to start a ruckus here between UF and SC fans, just repeating what I heard.
Listen, here's the bottom line IMHO. Boom had to learn things the hard way at UF ... OJT if you will. I get it how UF fans felt about him when y'all ran him out of town.
He's ours now and y'all have Dan the Man. Everyone is happy. Good luck to y'all in all of them except the ones against us.

A certain USC poster still thinks that he didn't deserve to be fired.

I'm just an old man talking shite .... I get it. It's like the T-shirt my wife got for me, "As incredible as it seems, my life is based on a true story."

And you're my special sheephumping taterhead sister banging stalker living vicariously through the SECr.
God bless your little heart.

"Well I was down at the coffee shop with the boys and so-and-so who is friends with so-and-so's uncle who works for some dude has connections to UF said..."

The difference is that we all know that Korina has no friends.

No its not. Korina is an autocorrect. He picked a poor handle for mobile devices.

Ohhhhh, this was far more firsthand than that.
I tell it when it's coffee shop, or in my case the Waffle House breakfast meetings ... and I always include, take it fwiw and include all caveats.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that not all UF fans were all-in on the Mullen hire ... they are cautiously optimistic after McElwain, but that's not a vote of confidence.
And a lot of Gator fans are not happy with Striklin.
I've spoken with friends in Eustis, Mt Dora, Orlando, Tampa and Ocala. Good friends I either served with (who came to fish camp this year) or worked with (now working for Disney, etc.,) and a lot of the dew has been knocked off that Stricklin lilly pad.
I just didn't realize how much until this last weekend.
Hiring George Wynn was a good move for Boom though ... former UGA player, has worked with Boom from Texas to UF and now here. Great guy from what I hear ... really getting it done. Was glad to get out of Gainesville though. He was ready for a change and Mullen didn't retain him so ... worked out for all of us evidently.
Wynn must be a helluvan organizer ... and that's really what mUSChamp values in his support personnel.

Muschamp peaked at UF when he took them to the Sugar Bowl. His peak at USCe will be much lower
