Florida/LSU is maybe the best series in the SEC. i'm an old fart and remember the games when Spurrier was the QB for Florida. obviously i had to listen to the game on the radio because TV was not an option for almost all the games back then. there have been some great games and i'm not happy about losing those bastards as a permanent opponent.

1. Sankey just said in a live interview that the 3-6-6 OR 1-7-7 had NOT been decided.

2. If we go to 3-6-6, we will play each team at least twice in a 4-year period. It just isn't that big of deal TO ME whether we play someone every year or every other year.

We would happily play Tulane if they give us our fair share of ticket revenue (all of it).

Ole Miss is just ok as a rivalry I guess but has lost its luster
Y’all have rushed the field twice in the last decade when y’all beat us. You’ve yet to do that with Florida

Does 1997 count?

I think that was the first time LSU fans rushed the field.

Lost to Ole Miss the next week on my birthday. The day the magic entered decline.

Why in the hell are we even in the SEC if we aren't going to play our rivals?

I liked the Auburn game personally. But we'll still see Auburn and Florida every couple of years.

The Jump Pass game

The 4th down game

The Tebow phone game

The fake field goal game

The Brad Wing fake punt game

The Hurricane game

The shoe toss game

The TDP record breaking game

And that's just going back to 2006. This series has had a lot of memorable moments

I will also miss this series, and to replace LSU with Oklahoma is just wrong.

You will miss the series?

UF and LSU will play every other year.

Yes, I agree that making LSU and Bama permanent rivals is stupid and makes no sense.

I mean, it does when you consider money is the driving force behind all this. But damn, the LSU/UF game is about as SEC as it gets. I think every SEC enjoyed that game. It's always wild.

Florida has always been the biggest game for me because Steve Spurrier. Hate that guy. Would always run up the score. They kept us from an undefeated season in 03. Stopped us from winning 7th CWS title in baseball. Torment us in basketball. But mainly Steve Spurrier. frick that guy.
