Totally stolen from the TR and obi won ryobi but he make a good point. The SEC will not, nor will any SEC program, expose itself to civil discovery in any CFB. A credible argument of criminal conspiracy, and a good judge and you can throw those NDAs out the window, and with the risk of losing 100s of millions of dollars, they were serve Sankeys head on a platter with deviled eggs. And don’t ever say we are good for the SEC bitches…

Ironically, LSU may be the one school that protected itself from what could be coming since we obviously weren’t participating in a federally illegal attempt at conspiracy.

The SEC’s current legal position is having to explain to a judge as to why it shouldn’t be held in contempt. And that’s against the backdrop of the NCAA and its conferences in a historic losing streak in every court case on all levels.

Somehow nobody told these idiots that they’re not the first people to think they can come up with a cute plane to violate a clear court order. And spoiler alert: courts don’t love when it’s tried.

If discovery shows the SEC, NCAA, schools or conferences coordinated to boycott these players, this could become a massive antitrust case with treble damages, injunctions and people losing their jobs.

And for what? Best case, they stop a handful of guys caught in a one-year eligibility glitch from playing one more season. Worst case, they expose an antitrust conspiracy and create devastating precedent against themselves.

The risk/reward here is insane and mark my words the ADs will try to make Sankey the fall guy for the exact behavior they pressured him to do. (Of course, they will)

Turtles all the way down.

This certainly can't be the case, I was told by this board how bad the decision was by LSU abstaining in the 15-0 penalties vote.

what exactly do you think a new commissioner is going to fix for a conference full of football factories? everyone can pay today and the SEC's geographic footprint is VERY VERY POOR

This isn't the 1870s... The SEC has 16 of the top 50 television markets and many of the fastest growing states in America including Texas with Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, etc. What you wrote is so dumb it's amazing.

There is mass psychosis over there. I am not surprised someone over there dreamed this up.

Hysterical transBrand

Southeastern Conference (SEC) teams account for just over 40% of all live television viewership hours consumed across the four major college football conferences.

It's awful, Ole Miss will run for 400 against us. No need to even gameplan.

Describe in great detail how any of the changes forced onto the NCAA by the courts have been positive. Greg Sankey isn’t the problem. It’s every team that runs to a local court to enforce their desired outcome.

Sounds like you are siding with LSU. Hell no should players come back from the NFL. Screw the judge!!!
