He's closer than you think. If he continues on his trajectory then it will not be debatable. Deion Sanders is widely considered the Best College CB of all time. Compare Deion's Freshmen Season against Stingley's Freshmen season and get back to me. Matter of fact, I'll give you a lil tidbit:

deion isnt considered best of all time.. i'd put both woodson and bailey over him easy as far as college. we're talking college not nfl

Care to elaborate on what's YOUR criteria? I mean Stingley has already achieved something that Deion, Woodson, or Champ Bailey didn't. That is FIRST TEAM ALL AMERICAN. In his Freshmen year.
No one is saying he is the best of all time RIGHT NOW. But he sure as hell have as great of a shot than anyone to wear that crown in the future.

Bama fans hyping up Waddle but didn’t even pop among a crop of another talented receivers. I’m sorry, but if he’s that good, he would have. Chase on the other hand dominated college football and faced every top corner in the country, sans Okudah.
Stingley on the other hand turned Fulton from a first round pick to a second round pick because they wouldn’t throw at him.
There is already articles out about GM’s “freaking out” about his ability. He has the highest CB grade ever from PFF. Bama fans are clamoring to the only good thing that happened to them this season since they didn’t beat any ranked teams. Don’t blame them.
