Let's get real.. It's not Covid messing up College football. It's gov and politics and it looks like they are going to do it again next year.

Already talking about a "more contagious variant" in Colorado.

Already talking about shutting schools down for 100 days.

etc.

etc..

etc..

Once football season ends, who cares if they shut the schools down for a 100 days.

Well after watching some of these defenders struggle to tackle early in the year I sure hope that things get back to normal and we have spring practice in 2021. It is needed.

for those concerned with the future, it's too late

but if you'd at least like to know what is happening - they are openly telling you everything that will happen

-technacracy
-global smart grid where all interactions of all people and resources are stored on blockchain
-digital reality where all people are basically a digital currency generator based on activity. see patent # WO202060606
-transhuman era with dna modification and external control of the human body

guys, like everything is literally changing forever in drastic ways you could have never imagined

Football never ends. Spring Training and camps are during that time.

Parents with kids who are not actually learning and having to pay somebody to watch them IF they are allowed to work.

I don't think it will mess up sports any more than 2020 did, probably not nearly as much honestly. Think about where we were in March through June with no sports and where we are now. COVID may very well continue to screw up fans being able to attend games, however.

Regardless, generally speaking, when viruses mutate, they typically can become more contagious but also less lethal. Having a vaccine should also quell a lot of fears moving forward once it's readily available for everyone, so hopefully by this summer we are moving towards the other side of this. I guess time will tell

Biden doesn't have the authority (nor the federal government, for that matter) to lock down states, nor does he have the police power to enforce a shutdown. The federal government does not have general police power under the law, and state police don't have the jurisdiction to enforce federal laws. Any mandate via executive order or from the federal govt would be hollow and essentially unenforceable unless they threatened to withhold federal funding for state's non-compliance, which would be political suicide in this political and economic climate

That contagious variant came from UK (it entered Europe from there).

Wr just have terrible leadership like everywhere.

I mean why the hell didn't they shut down all flights to UK, reject all people with passports that entered UK, then made all people who have been in Europe the past month stay in a quarantine before joining the general public???

I mean how do we as a country screw this stuff up twice?

Contagious? Is it more lethal than the original or just more contagious?

Usually virus mutations weaken considerably even though they are more contagious.

An article I read said they have traced it back to September in Germany

quote:

Experts believe that this mutated version of coronavirus, first detected in September, isn’t more deadly than the typical variety that causes Covid-19, and say there is no proof that it should impact the efficacy of vaccines.

because once you identify a case of a mutated form of a virus like that, it's already too late, especially with something this contagious and with a incubation period of a week. Regardless, travel has been significantly restricted, especially to and from the United States/Europe
