Brian Kelly won 10 games in each of his first two seasons and 9 in his third.
The bar for Lane to be considered "successful" is incredibly high.
But he's really cool on social media and telling both the NCAA and the SEC to frick off, so I'm sure he'll be granted the time to get his guys into the program.

Now you really making yourself look silly. Nobody has said we will go undefeated. I think we lost 3 maybe 4 games this year. Tough schedule , we don’t get to play Missouri this year.
