Why does mizzou play varsity sports? All sports, all time two national championships. Last time they won anything of significance in football was a co-conference championship in 1969 only 56 years ago. Do the tax payers have grounds for financial malpractice against the university for wasting money. Has any university won less championships
Why?

Why does mizzou play sports

Yep, the OU cheats continue to brag about their glorious past when it’s obvious they paid players under the table to live in that tumbleweed-tornado alley shitehole. It would be a tough sell if money wasn’t involved. It’s hilarious that none of them acknowledge that OU is near the top of the list of pre-NIL cheats.

Wish LSU had a football team like Missouri this season.

It just means more.

Mizzou fans start dozens of threads about OU in the previous month. A weird OU fan started one thread and they lose their fricking minds hahahaha.

I went to Norman last year to see the campus. My word.
First, the campus is built around the football stadium. It is like the football team comes first, and the rest of the campus and town was an afterthought.
The campus is built around the admin building and the library/ The north and south ovals. The stadium is kind of on the east edge of campus.
I'm sure you didn't notice on your drive by tour.
quote:
I wish I was joking, but I’m not, OU was by far the most pathetic and ugly campus I have ever seen in my life, and I have been to many. A bunch of crappy buildings built in the 60’s and 70’s, and a bunch of dead grass, with a few scraggly trees mixed in.
The academic campus at OU is green and lush. I'll admit... the residential and athletic parts of campus aren't much to look at for the most part.
quote:
The dorms are straight out of the Soviet Union. The fraternities and sororities were nothing to write home about either.
Guilty as charged on the old dorms... The newer dorms are quite nice and are done in the Cherokee Gothic architectural theme on campus. The Greek houses don't have to apologize to anybody. You are flat out wrong there.
quote:
Lloyd Noble arena is straight from the 70’s in a gigantic parking lot with weeds growing all over the place in the parking lot cracks.
[b]The LNC is straight out of the '70s and we are trying to get a new arena approved. Maybe some of your Mizzou friends can weed eat the parking lot for us when they come to town.
quote:
There is a group of bars north of campus that are pathetic. It is like one block.
It is called Campus Corner... and it is not much different than any other commercial/entertainment strip you will find next to a campus. The Corner has some charm because it isn't really located on a super busy street. There are routine block parties down there... and actually... it is about three or four blocks along Asp, Buchanan, University, Jenkins and Boyd.
quote:
There’s a downtown area where there are allegedly bars, but you have to cross a rusty, crappy railroad track to get there from campus. There are literally rusty railroad cars with graffiti sitting there. I mean WTF.
Railroad track does suck. But downtown is kind of built like an old Wild West Main Street.
quote:
Norman is a dump. The word that comes to mind when I think of Norman is weedwacker. I don’t know why the residents there let it look like crap, but hey to each there own.
True, lots of Norman isn't real great. But the area around campus is nice (except for the railroad track)...
OU is unique in that around campus you wouldn't think Norman was 130K and part of a 1.5 million metro. It is pretty tranquil. Meanwhile when you get over by the interstate... Norman has all the busy streets and congestion that you usually see right around the University itself.
Maybe you should come to the game to get another look.

Yeah that's 100% BS lol. South Carolina, Michigan, and Ole Miss fans all talked about how beautiful the OU campus is.

I like OU, and am glad they are in the SEC. I’ve actually had some family members attend there.
Just….glass houses, you know?

You went 32-12 on the road in the B12! Whoop Diddy dick! You're finding out that SEC road games are a different animal.

Been to Norman many times & couldn’t agree more… stadium is nice, town is very uneventful. Just proves OU had to pay players to go there.
Also hilarious how OKC tries to claim such a large population. Any city would be huge if the claimed the square mileage they claim. One of the least urban cities I’ve ever been to. Took 44 east & there is nothing 5 min out of OKC. And don’t get me started on the frickn tolls!
