Kirby wanted to demonstrate that he could beat Alabama, complete with a Heisman-winning QB and the best defensive player in CFB, with this guy.

It is my firm belief that Kirby played a walk-on QB the full year entirely to troll Saban. And he succeeded.

I wouldn’t troll or attempt that with the worst player.

Can we stop calling him a walk on? This was SB4's third season playing for UGA with a scholarship.

Two thousand yard receivers, the starting RB, and both starting cornerbacks would have made zero difference in the title game. Right ? Bama third and fourth stringers had the lead in the fourth quarter.

Nah, I don't think so, brutha. UGA docs cleared JT to play, but his Cali docs said no, so JT said no, and then Kirby said no later on when Jt tried to get some playing time. Pissed Kirby off, and I don't blame him.

No, you lost two WRs. Big deal. We lost all of our starting WRs before the year even began. We had to rely on a freshman white boy out of California.

You got your arse beat by three possessions. Get fricked.

The good BAMA posters aren’t making excuses but enough of you are to warrant a response. Georgia was without George Pickens, Dom Blaylock, and Arian Smith most of the season. George came back at the the Tech game but wasn’t 100 percent. Secondary was also depleted. Lost Tykee and Chris Smith for much of the year and had to pay a walk on special teams dude at safety for slot of the game. Stetson was a back up. Injuries are a part of the game. BAMA recruits at a level where you will not ever get a pass.

Y’all realize that Stetson played about the same in all three games against Alabama but in the third attempt his team actually stepped up and didn’t make him throw from down 2 scores or more in the 2nd half for once…right?

Defense didn’t get torched, OL didn’t play like shite in the 2nd half. That’s the difference not Stet.

It was a big deal because those two receivers were most of Alabama's offense all year long. Alabama was forced to play Georgia's game in the CG. Georgia was forced to play Alabama's game in the SECCG. You get fricked moron.

Eitherway, Stetson has a National Title and Fields has none.

Georgia had a lot of injuries during the season and weathered it. Alabama was not as deep with experience and I think got written into a corner in terms of offensive approach and player development to get all the way to an SEC title and national championship game appearance.

Alabama had talent behind those guys but they weren’t ready to play. Probably justified reasons for it: fewer blowout opportunities for depth development, offense needing to maximize known commodities to win week to week. Still, Alabama needed that depth in the end and didn’t have it.

I guess I fall into your category as a "good Bama poster" since I haven't made any excuses, but why are you whining about your injuries?

My gosh y'all won and you still can't help yourselves from it!

A 42 year habit of whining about such things is a hard one to break.

You are still crying because our backups were better than yours.
