It shouldn’t happen at all.
Me and the wife (no pics) watch a lot of college basketball. We listened to my cousin tell us how much better the women's game is, and that we should really start watching it. More techinacally sound, better defense, blah blah blah.... my cousin is a 20+ year girls basketball coach.

After watching a men's game one night, I flipped the channel and came across two of the best women's teams playing it. So we indulged. A few minutes in, my wife asked "what other SEC games are on?" Meaning dudes. Softball comes to mind as about the only girl sport I can get into. I totally understand the perspective of someone who is invested, but if we are talking about viewing something possibly spectacular, the odds are that the players with twigs and berries are going to put on a better show.

What live sport would you prefer they broadcast instead this evening? Preseason MLB?

Always keep in mind ... most high school boys teams in the country would absolute beat to death the best womens college teams. Across every contact sport. Wouldn't be close.

Maybe the womens bowlers could hold their own. About it.

Are the Brazil Women practicing beach volleyball ? Are the Swede Women out for an organized jog ?

Is there an organized Pole Dancing league in the same city as any Nursing School ?

I watch women's basketball because OU has a pretty competitive team... and I believe you can get to where you can appreciate a below the rim game.

But that is where softball has an advantage.... The adaptations softball has made away from baseball has made the game way more exciting than it would be if women played baseball.

Smaller diamond, smaller field dimensions, closer pitchers mound, a ball that carries slower through the air... all make for a dynamic game.

In basketball, the girls do play with a slightly smaller ball... but to make it more the equivalent to softball... they'd probably have to have girls play basketball with a nine foot goal.

That's my point. The average spectator wants to see prime. Best against best. If it was about the sex, WNBA would garner 50% of the pro basketball viewership, but women don't want to watch that shite. Everyone wants to have the possibility of seeing greatness in real time. Things that seem humanly impossible, but you see it with your own eyes, and are in awe. Watching 6 rebounds underneath the goal with no score made is a great way to get someone to change the channel to a Seinfeld rerun.

I understand your point and I'm not a consumer of women's sports but, complaining that it's being broadcast when there is nothing else for them to broadcast, it's mind numbing stupid. Just read a book.

Women’s basketball fans are weird. This board has way too many of them.

It is okay. There could be one or two other options for Television Viewing tonight. If you search hard enough…or perhaps you could read a book, write a letter to a loved one or friend…

Go on and show your true colors.

Maybe you can find the Forklift or Plumbing Championship somewhere.

Yeah. I adored watching Larry Bird because I found him attractive. Flopping LeBron I get it with the homo crowd, but Jordan? Maybe that tongue hanging out while doing head above rim dunks made a boner for some, but I don't watch SPORTS to get my dick hard. That's what porn is for!

DEI. Monday is watching those games. The Virginia game announced they only sold 10% of tickets. Place was empty. This will get downvoted because the Rant has a lot of Trannys and Homos, but it’s true

I'm sure you can catch something on the SECN that's long been over.

When one guy asks another what he thinks of the women's movement?

It's not so bad, especially when walking behind it.
