Has Dobbs even won any significant games besides Vanderbilt and Kentucky?

His first start of the season was on the road against USCe. He passed for 301 yards and broke a 35 year old school record for rushing yards by a QB with 166 yds. As well as leading a 14 point comeback in the last two minutes of the game.

Not taking away from Allen, because he had an impressive performance as well. Just throwing it out there.

Who was Tennessee playing that was actually worth noting?

Who was Allen?

For reference
358 and 4 TDs of Allen's production came against Lamar, SMU, and ULM. He also played against Auburn and WVU who were 70th and 73rd in pass defense respectively. The worst pass defense Dobbs played, was Bama at 59th. Every other team's defense he played against had top 53 pass defense.

Ditto! We replaced our entire Oline last year, we had 1 RB who was a freshman. About 2/3 of our Starting WRs were out (including North and Smith) we added another RB and some key transfers/JUCOS. And to top it off we're in the east. If we have improved Oline play and minimal injuries we will live up to the hype.

Simple, it was a long time ago but Tennessee actually was a nationally dominant, Championship contending program at one point. That will never be a definition that fits A&M.

4) Tennessee doesn't have to fix their defense, it just has to gain experience and depth. For comparisons sake;

Total Defense
UT 37 (364.6 yards)
TAMU 104 (450.8 yards)

Scoring Defense
UT 34 (24.2 ppg)
TAMU 77 (28.1 ppg)

It's absolutely about depth.

Defensive rankings by quarter:
Q1: 6th
Q2: 53rd
Q3: 10th
Q4: 91st

Tennessee is in the East, A&M is in the West

A&M would be either #1 or #2 (behind Georgia) on everyone's East ranking. There are 6 teams in the West who believe could/would win the East this year.

I don't have a clue why our two fan bases are trolling each other today but I think it's a first.

No, it is not a true statement.

Kyle Allen (5 starts):
61.5 completion%
1,322 yards
6.9 YPA
16 TDs
6 INTs
140 rating

Josh Dobbs (5 starts, plus one significant game off the bench):
63.3 completion%
1,206 yards
6.8 YPA
9 TDs
6 INTs
130 rating

Hell, A&M's BACKUP QB is better than that ET looking motherfricker you guys will be trotting out this year.

I doubt that, probably 3rd at the highest or 4th.

You guys have not been keeping up this summer. UT will win the East and beat Auburn in Atlanta to give them a sweep over the state of Alabama. It's not rocket science. If it were rocket science, the vols would win that too with their super smart QB who I expect to be the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft in 2016. He can count pies really well too.

Tennessee gave up like a billion second half points last year. Your defense got worn down HARD.

If they were in the East, A&M would be ranked behind Georgia, no doubt. They'd be ranked behind Mizzou and Tennessee for the most part as well.

Lack of depth on the DL which is fixed by stacking 5* lineman like Butch has been doing.

Every five star lineman on your team is a true freshman. That's hardly a bad thing, but to count on them being the resolution to your issues is a big assumption.

Even amongst elite recruits, the number who are truly program changing as true freshmen is minimal.
