Seattle to state of Bama. This isn’t hard to understand

Is it? My aunt and uncle stayed in Washington after his retirement at Fort Lewis. They're right outside Seattle. I'm doing dinner with them Sunday, almost 3000 miles from Seattle, because they're just straight up over the cold + rain.

Looks like they have at least one kid. Makes sense to me for the wife and kid(s) to stay behind at least till the school year is over.

She's also a college professor. Perhaps she feels bad about jumping ship in the middle of the semester.

I would argue there are as many cultural issues moving from downtown Seattle to Tuscaloosa as there would be moving from France to Germany.

I picture you sitting in the beauty parlor... Purse in your lap, hair in rollers sitting in a row with the other ladies under the dryer dome saying " well I heard his wife isn't coming to Alabama..."

Maybe if it were to a nice part of Alabama. But Tuscaloosa is a complete shite hole with zero redeeming qualities.

Lake Tuscaloosa area in Northport is as nice as anything around Auburn.

MS, AL, GA, TN all the same.

Most Louisiana coonasses have never left that state so they have no frame of reference and can't see that Louisiana is the a-hole of the country. What gets flushed in Arkansas comes up in Louisiana. One comedian said we should build a wall around it after doing a show there

If he can handle Fresno, which is the worst city in Cali, he can handle Tuscaloosa.

North Alabama is pretty country and he won't be the fall guy anyway when they quite possibly lose 4 games next year.

Seattle is a great city if you have money. If you don’t, it is still pretty nice. Just got back from Seattle last night.

Alabama has Huntsville and not much else. There isn’t much there for a wife who is used to a social life.

Why do Gumps always use the standard response of “you must be obsessed” when an alum of another school points out an issue with Alabama? It’s a strange defense mechanism.

I’m sure this is your first and only time pointing out such an issue
