I don’t think Kentucky recruits as well as many teams so you’re advantage might be on paper.

So this is all I know about this year so far, can the East guys help me fill in who has advantage by position:

QB - Kentucky
RB - Ole Miss
WR -
OL -

DL -
LB -
CB -
S -

They have a similar level of athletes at this point in time, and Lane Kiffin is a master at exploiting a defense’s weaknesses? I don’t necessarily think Ole Miss is going to win, but thinking that is the reason OM is getting the benefit of the doubt.
I personally think with an 11:00 kickoff, Lane might still be hungover, so UK stands a better chance than if they were to play a night game.

RB - Ole Miss

Chris Rodriguez will be back for the first time this season. If the OL can run block this week, UK has the RB advantage.

Over Zach Evans?? I can’t see it. Evans was the best RB his recruiting class and has backed it up in two conferences so far

Even if Evans and Rodriguez cancel each other out, Judkins gives OM the advantage there.

Fair enough. Smoke has been a mixed bag his whole career.

Quinshon, a true freshman, has 430 yards rushing on 6.12 yards per carry. He is incredible talents

So if we focus on offense only, who has a better OL or WR’s?

Ole Miss has the better OL, but we have some really good WRs right now.

Personally, I think we're pretty evenly matched at the eye test/with returning/new talent but Ole Miss should get the advantage at home. Our defense has been really good this season, so we'll see how they can manage Evans and Co.

It's a toss-up. I hope we win but there's nothing that could make me put any money on this game one way or another.

So:

QB - Kentucky
RB - Ole Miss
WR - Kentucky
OL - Ole Miss

This would make you think Ole Miss is going to be run heavy with Levis slinging it all game

Chris Rodriguez is not better than Zach Evans…CRod will have more yards than Zach Saturday, because Ole Miss don’t really do defense.

I mean CRod has been a top 3 back in this conference for 3 straight years. He will get his. Our teams have kind of flipped this year. OM used to sling it around 40 times a game and we used to stick to the power run game. The real question is what does your secondary look like? I haven’t watched you guys play all year for some reason.

On the surface OM has a better offense and a better defense. Now, I haven't looked deeply enough at the two or the competition they've played but just going by that OM has a very good chance of winning. OM's offense is also well balanced between rushing and passing which means some of UK's strengths are mitigated.

UK is very solid team this year but I don't think they can afford to get behind a team like OM which means they have to play perfectly to win. I don't think they're explosive enough to absorb mistakes. I do think they're more than tough enough if OM matches mistakes with them.

As for pretty boy... Eh he stopped being a pretty boy about 5 years ago. But time catches us all eventually.

I’ve seen Evans play. I know he’s good. I’m not worried about him not getting his 100 yards. That’s a given.

I have heard good things about the Kentucky RB, so what I know about him is based on reputation only. I don’t know if he’ll get his 100, but it will be fun to see. He was supposed to be better than Benny Snell, who we got to play.

He would’ve passed Benny to become the all time school leader in rushing if he hadn’t screwed up in the off season. His only dock is he fumbled the ball too much last year. But he’s a physical back that rarely goes down on first contact
