Norman is a true college town. On game day, it's the biggest thing going on in town and it's all about them, AND, it's Oklahoma. Case closed.
Recruits don't care about what NW AR looks like. Bruthas aren't foaming at the mouth to get out and go camping. What a stupid argument.

Come on! OU has been a football power 60/70 years. You might say they have Alabama like tradition. OU recruits National as well. Not a good comparison considering they recruit as good as most SEC teams.

1) They have a much easier path than Arkansas. They market winning that crappy conference and having an easy path to the playoffs.
2) It is about 3 hrs to Dallas from the OU campus, but nearly 5 from Arkansas.
3) They play many more games in the state of TX than Arkansas.

During the Switzer years it took Trans Ams, 350Zs, and double wides to get the big names on campus. Since then Oklahoma has been real big on setting up players working for boosters who are paid for work not performed as they have been caught doing under Stoops.
