Why is LSU not getting the local kids anymore?

Average LSU recruit comes from almost 1,700 miles away.
Toilet bowl kids need a chance to succeed. They’re the only school above 1,000 miles.
Shame shame.

Aggies paying big bucks
they used to get all Texas kids
LSU is still getting the majority in state
I'm not sure what that statistic is basing it on

Alabama currently has zero of the top 13 and one out of the top 26 players in the state of Alabama committed.
Shut the frick up.

That’s a lie. Why even mention us in a thread not about us? A Bama poster started this thread.

On3 shows the average distance for every team
LSU is Avg. Distance 1,509 mi

Don't y'all have a kid from Hawaii committed? That's probably screwing the numbers a fair bit.

We have an Australian punter committed, but LSU knows we paid him millions instead of getting a Texas punter.

Currently committed, LSU has 7 kids from LA, 1 from GA, 2 from PA, 2 from TX, 1 from SC, 1 from FL, and 1 from Hawaii.

Happening everywhere. Proximity matters less when every recruitment is a bidding war

LSU’s 15 committed players for 2027 are an average distance of ~615 miles.
Edit: I didn’t realize the kid from HI is playing his senior HS season in CA

That’s what it is. The Hawaii kid moved to California for his Sr year of HS, probably after this article was published.

Is recruiting slow for Bama or something? There must be some reason you are fretting over LSUs recruits. How is Bama doing this cycle btw?

Dude, some of our greatest players in the last 20 years have been from Hawaii, California, Texas, New Jersey. Hell, Joe Namath was from Pennsylvania.
Nice troll, though.
