Most books have them at 7 wins. I don’t get it and 10 wins seems realistic.

They recruit well, upgraded coaching staff, best WRs and possibly DL in the SEC.

What am I missing?

Their team will quit and sit out the rest of the year after the Bama loss.

Too much turnover. We should show signs of the future but I don't see us beating every one of these improved west teams. Better watch out in 2023 though....

It was good to see Ole Miss could finally beat Ed Orgeron after he’d already been fired, bringing their record against him all the way up to 1-5..

Congrats on your first 10-win regular season in program history

Because they’ve been .500 or worse the past two years. 7 wins would be an improvement.

Nick Saban went 7-6 and Lost to LA Monroe his first year at Alabama.

It's all about what you have to work with. Seems to me BKs got a decent rebuild ahead of him. On top of having to replace players, he has to install his entire program and most likely put in a bit of culture change for responsibility.

They will somehow have 8 guys drafted but are “underdogs”, if doing the least with the most was a team

• QBs are average at best
• Their secondary is questionable
• LBs are average
• OL is average
• RBs are average at best
• Breaking in new coaching staff

Not a lot of depth outside QB and WR

Because they hired a new coach for a program that has been depleted and mismanaged for the last couple of years. Honestly predicting them to be bowl eligible is giving CBK the benefit of the doubt. That being said, I do think he is a good coach, and I think he will average 10+ wins per year while he is there. But I have to agree that 7 wins is probably their ceiling this year and if he surpasses that, he should be coach of the year.

Maybe, just maybe we should play the schedule out to see if LSU sucks in 2022 like they did in 2020 and 2021.

Lots of unknowns

They did, however, land several players in the portal who have significant starts and who are slated to start.

Biggest concern is a lack of depth at DB, LB and RB.
