We ain't got room. We have more outright titles than you have west championships.

How did Texas steal half the Bama championship staff then?

If a one point win is "spanking that arse," what does Corndog U call this?

The three offensive assistants? Which includes Sarkisian and Kyle Flood that came to Alabama with him? I guess Jeff Blanks and his stripper wife’s monkey was a steal.

Worst sports day in the history of my life. However, I can admit that because when I reach in my pants there’s a big set of nuts that says I’m a man. So, yea.

Money is good everywhere now and Sabans always been a hard arse and will probably be more difficult with the slight dip.

Bama used to be hard nosed and instill fear, but the success brought about a different mentality. It’s evident in the results of late

You got downvoted but there’s a lot of fans and former players who feel this way. In our attempt to modernize our offense Bama got away from being who they were. People spouting NIL and stuff are full of crap Bama is still bringing in top talent but Bama needs a come to Jesus about who they are and want to be. If that means going back to a 60/40 run to pass and mauling people then by all means do it. The defensive talent at Alabama last year was absolutely wasted. This should have easily been the best defense in college football hands down and it wasn’t even the best in the sec.

I haven't read the whole thread so forgive me if some of thee have already been mentioned but here's my take.

1. NIL has ended the Alabama monopoly on buying players on an epic scale. Oh sure Alabama will continue to get great recruiting classes but they no longer have the absolute advantage they used to have.

2. Unrealistic fan expectations. Despite the fact that NIL is going to start leveling the playing field bama fans expect to win the NC every year and consider anything less a tragedy. Alabama lost 2 games this past year by small margins and all of the locals in my neck of the woods have been wandering around dazed like God took the sun away.

3. None of the credit. Even if you take the job as OC or DC at Alabama and they do indeed win the national championship your first year there (or any year after that) you will get none of the credit. Saint Nicholous the Holy will get every bit of it.

4. All the blame. Any loss however, no matter the circumstances, will be pinned on either the offensive or defensive coordinators. Never on Saban, no,no,no. Not the God of football. Never his fault.

This stance makes no sense to me.

Unless you're pretending that no one else besides Bama was cheating, and that's absurd.
