Thank you for your concern.
I suppose it’s better to have opposing fan bases wringing their hands about our perceived coping.
You keep watching out for our poor reactions and we will keep focusing on our team who is trying to win every rep, game, week.
Y’all are a bunch of Nancy’s.
OP is a noted "concern troll".
For the Aggies, what level of success would banish the BAS? Will it take winning a championship?

Let folks enjoy stuff. Ags are one of the more loyal fanbases and they haven’t been rewarded really ever. This team isn’t the stereotypical championship squad most of envision, but compared to the field, it looks formidable.

It has been a while since we have seen a whole fanbase have a collective breakdown because they are winning like we are witnessing from Aggie. It is like they expect the wheels to fly off the bus any minute now.
We’re not expecting them to fly off the bus, we’re expecting it to explode like a nuke.

My post last week.
my post before LSU game
my post before Arkansas game
my post before the Florida game
But you go ahead and make a blanket statement about all Aggie fans when it is really only about 3 or 4 on this board that do that shite.

UGA by 11
Ole Miss- inexplicable play calls by Kiffin but they still win big
Ags by 12
Auburn by 4
Bama by 9
Gators by 3
my post before LSU game
quote:
Ags defense has all kinds of advantages over an LSU offense that is not physical at all.
I like our offense vs LSU.
Our offense will move and score. Their secondary is their defensive strength but they aren’t elite by any stretch. No reason why we don’t score in the 30s unless we shoot ourselves in the foot often.
my post before Arkansas game
quote:
Yep, I think we win. We should rush for 250+. I like the Hogs offense but they make mistakes and turn it over. We also make mistakes but they typically just kill a drive.
I like the matchup TBH. Ags in high 30s lower 40s. Hogs about 10-12 points behind.
my post before the Florida game
quote:
We are very inconsistent on offense. Rack up a bunch of rushing yards but can’t get 1-2 yards rushing deep in the red zone and we are penalty prone at times.
Haven’t really connected on deep balls with open receivers. Lots of shite to clean up. At the moment we look like a top 10-12 team to me.
Honestly think Gators are in trouble this week.

schools Handling Aggie Success so Poorly?
The old guard knows their days of owning this conference are about to end so they are freaking out. Its so obvious. It'd be the same if the horns could play consistent football. Texas money, power will allow Texas schools to keep in-state talent home and even poach other Southern states of their talent. Not to mention the best facilities.
As a Texan you love to see it. The Permian basin will allow us to do our part as well.

Are you the jackass who runs up to the pitcher in the 6th inning to remind him he's throwing a no hitter?

Disagree and there are plenty of Aggies on this board Im not a fan of. Cautious optimism seems to be their MO right now and rightfully so. They earned their record and while they haven’t been tested by a top 5 team they have beat whoever is in front of them including beating ND on the road. ND isn’t as good as their ranking but going on the road and winning is impressive.
If they win out including the sec title game then things get interesting for how they handle it

Just take a look at the amount of haterade being provided on here.
It’s unprecedented.

Indeed. It totally understand and wouldn't have it any other way.
Funny thing some early projections have us meeting. It'll be so much fun, so much hate. Even this younger generation will get caught up. Football as it should be. Long way off I know.

Asking as a non-Texan Aggie, why does Tech hate A&M so much? It has never made much sense to me.
I always figured the horns would be enemy #1, with TCU or maybe even Baylor as the other rival, geographically speaking. I think the only old SWC teams further from Lubbock than A&M are UH and Rice. Never understood why Tech latched on to hating A&M first and foremost.

I don't understand this fallacy that programs that didn't pump money into their football programs pre NIL will suddenly start.
Or that programs that did, will suddenly stop.
A&M has been investing into their program for awhile now, they just haven't had the right coach.

You must be young.
Back in the 2000's, Mike Leach and Tech absolutely crushed A&M. All the time.
As mentioned, one time, in Tech, Tech tore down their own goal posts and threw it in the visitors section. A brawl ensued in the stands.
That said, since A&M went to the SEC, that whole bit has turned into indifference.
