He sucked at it here and the AAC just stuffed it. So did BYU.

Teams will catch up, doubt people worries with ut much last year in prep.

That's weird because nobody struggled with Malzahn's "uptempo" offense after 2014

What struggle? I thought UT went 4-4 in the conference last year. No?

Usually takes a year or two for a gimmick offense to be figured out

Besides the perennial bottom dwellers, what teams are struggling?

As a head coach, he's 0-fer against Bama, Georgia, LSU,
Ole Miss, Florida...

Kudos on running up the score on that stout Vanderbilt D!

Why does the SEC struggle

Tennessee lost to Florida (14-38), Ole Miss (26-31), Alabama (24-52), and Georgia (17-41), averaging 20 PPG.

They beat Missouri (62-24), South Carolina (45-20), Kentucky (45-42), and Vanderbilt (45-21), averaging 49 PPG.

So you tell me—who again is struggling?

I don't know. Why do UCF fans just make shite up and pass it off as truth?

They had 10 first downs against Alabama. Three plays for the bulk of their yardage. Of course they scored on those plays but still lost 52-24.

I mean he went 28-8 (19-5) over 3 years and had a top 5 offense nationally from start to finish.

Total Offense (National) by year:
#2 - 2020
#2 - 2019
#5 - 2018

So did BYU.

Didn't UCF have more players/key contributors opt out for that game than any other team in college football?

Because he has better Offensive Weapons at UT than he had at UCF. One ran the 4th fastest 40 time at the NFL combine earlier this month. Uptempo doesn't work if you have a bunch of players who couldn't cut it at a P5 program. That's what hindered him at UCF.

Didn’t UCF have at least a top 5 O every non Covid year he was the HC?

But by hiring a proven SEC O guru they didn’t miss a beat right?

And the”gimmick” isn’t hard to figure out. It’s 7 plays with establishing the run to open the vertical passing game. Heupel just runs it a bit faster than most. Now that he will have access to D1 athletes and facilities he should be able to adapt better than what he has been able to do since his OU days.

Seems like UCFCuck is the one struggling.

Can't tell if he's stupid or trying to troll, but either way he's an oxygen thief.

That’s kind of the point of his offense. To go fast to get defenders out of position and then take advantage.

He took an undefeated national championship team over and ran it into the ground so fast we got stomped in the Boca bowl lmao.
