I don’t think it does, I think you’re conflating the idea of ppl roasting lsu’s non rev sports with ppl roasting lsu fans for the “big 3” sports titles talk. Most lsu baseball threads are met with baseball talk. It’s all these arbitrary posts trying to put baseball on the same pedestal as football or men’s basketball. It’s met with resistance bc there really isn’t a big three. For some schools football baseball and men’s bball are the big three. For others it’s football men’s bball and hockey, or women’s bball football and men’s bball. Once you just announce a sport is big three ppl will wonder why you arbitrarily chose said sport. It’ll be met with well this has better ratings or this sport gets more donations. There is a definitive two then a grouping of baseball hockey softball and women’s bball that are roughly the same.

What makes you think LSU Tigers football fans are fair-weather fans? I’ve been supporting them since the 1960s and never once considered jumping ship — not even during the tough Curley Hallman years. You all need to stop judging and stereotyping a fanbase because of a select few.

I really don’t care what any team does unless they’re playing Alabama that day/night. If y’all happy, good for y’all. Nobody should be pissed all the time as a fan.
