I do not remember seeing anything to this extent anywhere else. Is this a new thing for it to happen all game and if not, when did it start?

Urban Meyer started the trend when he needed to move to an easier playing field with the Big10

They don't have to fake injuries in the B1G bc they all run a Les Miles offense

respectfully, if youve never seen this anywhere else you must not watch very much football. like at all.

Refs aren't qualified to say what is or isn't a genuine injury. Even if it's just "cramps" how do you prove that the guy wasn't in pain? I hate it too but I just don't see a workable penalty.

One way to try and fix this issue is to hold the player out for 15 game minutes. Everything nowadays is player safety.

How about sitting out 15 minutes of game time? I mean if you're hurt, you're hurt. Or X number of plays.
May be a nightmare to track, but if you could, this would stop it.

Why is the B10 considered a P4 conference?

I don't like it any more than you do, but the short answer is "There is no rule against it".
And the refs aren't medically trained to know when an injury has actually occurred.
The best answer might be that the offending player has to sit out the next 4 plays on offense (if he is an offensive player) or defense.

Tennessee throwing mustard game probably had 10 fake injuries by Ole Miss. I was rooting for Tennessee and have hated Kiffin since.

Nah
But if it appears a player is coached into falling (and yesterday the coaching was obvious) then do a review and give a warning for first infraction, second infraction, a personal foul.

Kiffin and Ole Miss are one of the worst !
