I believe you.I don’t doubt for one second that you believe “Alabama fans are “losing their minds” over a football program that has been our whipping boy before humans traveled in motor vehicles.
I have found the answer I was looking for in my OP…I was genuinely curious, but not anymore. Their one answer that explains ALL OF IT: Apathy
That’s the cruelest pain there is….you guys literally HATE Alabama….half of you would probably gloat and celebrate it the tornado that hit Tuscaloosa had killed more Bama fans…..and the ultimate hurt is that Bama fans simply don’t gaf about LSU. Not in football, not in a quiz bowl.
I would rather Bama lose 10-fold to LSU than to ever lose a game to Auburn or Tennessee. And THAT is what sucks so bad for you guys, and I’m sorry. I truly am.
From an LSU perspective, Alabama is the ultimate villain for EVERYTHING that makes LSU football 2nd tier and just that 1 (more like 2 or 3 I guess but still close) to being a “Blueblood”…..but:
“We” supposedly “stole your coach away”, and those were “your championships that Alabama stole from us”, and then ended whatever sanity still remained to the point that the numbers 21 and 0 still give 1/2 your fanbase PTSD level flashbacks.
EVERY LSU poster on this message board knows exactly what the “2012 TJ Yeldon screen pass”, 21-0, “Patrick Peterson was in-bounds!!!!”, the billboards and lawsuits over “paying off referees to have an LSU suspended the 1st half of the game, deer antler spray, paying refs, T-shirts that with the “when pigs fly” motif on it that dates back to Stallings, the T-Bob Hebert “we are Paris” rant, “just beat Bama” pins, the weekly radio guy that has entire segment called “Bama is burning”, and that’s truly the tip of the iceberg.
That stuff includes your “sidewalk fans”, so just imagine the nut jobs on this website that I’m literally fearful to list their username bc I am 100% certain that MULTIPLE guys on that list are straight out of Silence of the Lambs.
You tell me how to act “when your new coach beats Bama”, bc our new coach skull-fu**ed you guys 42-6 in “the place where opponents’ dreams come to die”?
Bama wins 42-6 then and all the fans I know or read post from are concerned about Milroe still struggling in the passing game….
.Meanwhile you got the circus freaks on here creating “gifs” or whatever other creepy sh** you guys do that is on par with some crazy stalker that’s just lurking and lusting over the day you get to post all your creations that really just represent your pent up hatred.
It’s just f**ing weird and sad all at the same time.

You guys sure post A LOT about a school you "don't gaf" about. You wrote a book of a post about LSU, in a thread you created about LSU, on an LSU board, to tell us you "don't gaf".
I don't expect you to see the irony in any of that though, Alabama fans are known for their lack of self awareness.

Maybe. One thing is for sure though. Saban isn’t walking back through that door. It’s funny though, 4 paragraphs talking about the past and how great Alabama WAS! I told you. Get used to taking about the past and get familiar with YouTube. That’s the only place you’ll be seeing Alabama play for a national title in football for the foreseeable future. Y’all just gave the guy who led yall to 4 losses for the first time in almost 2 decades and extension with and even heftier buyout. That was a pretty stupid decision. A stupid enough decision to set yall back a decade or so. Y’all are working with limited funds so yall can’t afford to be buying out coaches like LSU.

Why not just view the 8 pages as fun enjoyment that you read every single page of and then felt the need to comment on because you were so engaged?

Not upset at all. I simply pointed out that resorting to slurs such as retard, and other personal insults doesn’t exactly demonstrate maturity or make your argument any stronger and, if your defense is “LSU fans say bad things about Alabama fans too,” then you’re really not making much of a defense. Two wrongs don’t suddenly make either one acceptable.
I don’t care whether you’re an LSU fan, Alabama fan, or fan of any other school. I have no problem with good-natured trash talk, but there’s a pretty big difference between talking football and attacking people with derogatory names and personal insults.
If you want to disagree with me, have at it. Just make an argument instead of throwing names around. That’s not being “delicate”—it’s simply having enough maturity to discuss sports without acting like a middle-schooler.
As far as your comment about people from Louisiana needing to feel superior it is an interesting comment, considering Paul tells us in Romans 12:3 not to think of ourselves more highly than we ought to. I try to remember that none of us is superior to anyone else, especially over something as insignificant as which college football team we support.
