Why does everyone think Bama will just run all over OU?

In their last 3 games against P5 Bama has only put up 417 yards on 100 carries. The schedule before that was a cake walk. And OU is objectively better than any team Bama has faced yet.

The Bama run game ain't what it used to be.

Against the run? That's not even laughable.

Texas ran it down OU's throat.

If Pooka Williams can run all over them then one of the 10 5 star RBs Bama has can do it too

4.17 YPA against 3 teams that give up 3.63 YPA (+0.54 YPA)

Oklahoma gives up 4.03 YPA.

So, that gives us a rough estimate of 4.57 YPA vs Oklahoma.

Have you watched any Oklahoma games? Their defense is awful. it's worse than awful. there are no words strong enough to describe how bad it is. They tackle poorly, line up poorly, adjust to formations shifts poorly....it's like they grabbed 11 random students, gave them uniforms and told them to go out there and do their best.

Alabama has the opportunity to score on every single possession if they don't turn the ball over.

Because Oklahoma’s defense is worse then the teams Bama had their way with earlier in the year. Oklahoma has shown against Texas that they can be slowed down by a team that actually has a defense .

Texas ran it down MIKE's throat. Ruffin held them to 88 yards rushing.

3rd in the conference in YPA at 5.34, averaged 200+ yards per game rushing to go along with #2 passing attack in the country.

Yea, it's fallen off a cliff.

Bama is a completely different animal than the balance of CF.

They are going to kill OU. Fine by me, maybe the committee will learn that best 4 teams is best 4 teams and not the 3 teams who had a easier path.

And 349 yards passing. Oklahoma can stop the pass, or they can stop the run. They are incapable of stopping both.

Doesn't really matter if you can run the ball when you have 5 guys running routes that are significantly better than anyone the defense has covering them.

Kansas had 322 yards rushing vs that defense

Kansas.

And you’re wondering why people believe Bama will run all over them?

Would put Bama at about 160 yards for the game.

Not bad, but that ain't gonna beat Kyler unless Tua throws for 400.

Let me introduce you to the even worse Oklahoma pass defense.

That's what happens when you leave your corners alone on an island with 6-4 and 6-6 WRs.
