re: Why do y'all think Ole Miss couldn't win it all? They're very capable of it.

Why does it matter? Nothing has changed. Ole Miss fans already told you Pete was always running the show.

So why say they can't win natties there?
I'm also willing to bet you and every Alabama fan completely laughed at the notion of Ole Miss winning a NCG before last week, but now LSU has their coach, they're suddenly a sleeping giant. GTFO with this

Because fat arse Sexton said so.

If you’re confident in their capability, put $100 on them. This is the closest they’ve been in decades, so it’s a good time to put up. They’re +3500.

They could have in 2024 and still can in 2025.
Lane just needed more talent in 2024... His lack of offense cost us a deep playoff run.

There's no reason you can't win a national championship at Ole Miss.
A head coach is not as important nowadays as it used to be as long as you have decent assistants. The head coach isn't throwing the ball, the head coach isn't running the ball, he's not playing defense, he's not kicking field goals.
Finishing in the top 20 in recruiting even when we had Matt Luke as our head coach, and feeling gaps with the portal is definitely able to be done.
I think Ole Miss will still win 8 or 9 games a year even without Kiffin. It could be hard to make the playoffs every year though.

Key word there being ONCE.
The Rebs might get hot in the CFP someday. But it is going to take a Cam Newton type situation and Trinidad ain't that.

Why would Ole Miss help Kiffin gain valuable experience by coaching Ole Miss in the playoffs then take off for LSU to get that valuable experience to help LSU build off on that experience? I wouldn't allow that if I was an Ole Miss fan.

This year? Ohio State.
Nobody’s beating the Buckeyes

Because Lane is a self sabateur. He had the playoffs on lock and decided to start a 3rd string WR at running back instead of the proven RB we had.

This make no sense. Ole miss has had a better record than LSU the last several years. They were more likely to win a natty than LSU. LSU had a winning coach before and he couldn't get it done... Maybe it's not the coach.. Maybe y'all just had a few lucky years. Idk.
