When are you gonna look in the mirror and ask how you were gaslit into allowing a fat Oklahoma QB to be your coach for 5 seasons?

I think you are being a bit rough on Josh... He has shown to be at least competent and adequate if not more than that while taking over a Tennessee program that was a wreck before he got there.

All that being said... "Chumley" is my favorite college coach nickname of all time. Not only does Josh look like Chumley from the cartoon... The cartoon's name was Tennessee Tuxedo.

My previous favorite nickname had been Rick "Neuweasel".

And before that the original "Great Pumpkin"... Dee Andros... who truly DID look like a pumpkin when he wore his orange Oregon State jacket.

All this time I’ve thought the name came from the guy on Pawn Stars.

Your coach’s name is Kalen and he sucks
Kalen coached freaking Washington to a national title shot. He's a good coach, but a poor fit where he's at now.

We had Napier and Mullen, LSU has had Brian Kelly, Alabama hired Mike Price, Ark had Chad Morris, Tenn had Pruitt...

I mean he is better then them. He is too good to fire but prob will never win a Natty. Tenn is kinda stuck.

They’d be dumb to fire him he basically brought them out of the abyss. He’s never gonna win a championship but firing him would be dumb and risk falling back to their previous 20 year stretch of misery

In his first 5 years, he’s had two 10 win campaigns and a playoff berth. So, I could see where Vol fans would be hesitant to make a move. Another sub 9 win campaign would probably put him on the hot seat for 2027.

I watched Tennessee twice last year

Against Bama and Oklahoma. They were so poorly coached and made so many mistakes. They just gave OU the game

Briles did a great job at Arkansas. Wish we still had him.

I’m glad to hear your endorsement and am looking forward to having a tried and true system with an experienced coordinator.

Edit: I should have added . . . “and an offensive line coach who knows Briles system backward and forward. We’ve needed a good OL coach.”

Because a guy who looks like he drives thru Wendy's for the burger then McDonald's for the fries commands a certain level of respect.
