Talk about revisionist history!

So they were a part of the Big 12 for 100 years?
I'd call you stupid, but stupid people would be insulted by being associated with you.

Texas, Baylor and Texas A&M were conference mates for about 100 years. You silly aggies have a serious hard-on for Texas and Baylor.
Was that so hard to understand? Sheesh.

Missouri didn't get jilted by the Big 10, it refused to be paid probationary money that the Nebbies were quick to snatch up.
I see. So Missouri, in essence (you claim), turned down the Big 10?

Y'all are the most consistently stupid and arse-chapped fanbase in the history of fanbases.

Yes, that is 100%, exactly, spot on what happened. Nebraska took the deal we wouldn't, and we came out roses.
Texas is a bane on any entity partnered with it. These are the facts

A&M has been anti-Big 12 because they are fools. Fools in that their administration, in order to pull off the move they did, they had to have a boogeyman to rail against, and that boogeyman was Texas.
As you SEC people can see, the easiest way to whip an Aggie into a frenzy is to mention Texas, and their administrators used that to their advantage while they left the conference because of they were tired of getting outmaneuvered by Texas within the Big 12 apparatus. So they had to get away from them or forever suffer in their shadow.
Good for A&M, it was a bold move. But make no mistake, they were sold on the SEC move by stirring the pot against their former Texas brethren, whom they left after about 100 years as conference mates.
Now, they are your problem.

Peter Bean? Is that your arrogant, pompous, wrong arse?
frick you, sip.
We are enjoying your entire athletic program's epic nose-dive into eternal marginalization. I hope you all commit group seppuku after watching your 100 years of built-in advantages circle the drain forever.

So you're saying everyone in the conference loved/loves texas? Good lord your fanbase is delusional and arrogant. I hate to break it to ya, no one liked ya then and we still don't like ya now.

Now you've done it.

Really? Baylor is getting all the top talent? I must have missed that.
This thread has a ridiculous premise. The SEC was always the Aggies real home, while Mizzou loved the Big 8 before the Texas schools ruined it.

I think at the end of the day, Mizzou is satisfied with winning the SEC East. They are content with winning division titles and nothing more. This stems back to never being able to get past OU in Big 12 championship games.
Mizzou could care less about an SEC championship because the fans know their role against teams like Alabama. As long as they keep winning the SEC East and obtain bragging rights,, their fans will be content.
Regarding A&M, they are a prideful bunch. They really truly believe that their football history is bigger than what it really is. Therefore, they'll continue to replicate Arkansas fans in that they'll continue to have major expectations year after year with disappointing results. But Aggies are good people, I have friends who are alumni.

OU is content suckling off the bevo nipple and taking their marching orders from Austin. That much is obvious.
It was cute when they tried to ween themselves and go to the PAC without their Daddy, but they learned their place when the PAC said no thanks. Now when Texas says jump, they ask how high.
