Our two big Rivals have always been Little Bro Auburn and those Hillbillies from UTjr. Both programs have been tougher opponents over the years with both having close to 40 wins vs The King of CFB

This is a classic case of projection. I find it odd how Alabama never displays such vitriol towards their actual "rivals," Auburn and Tennessee.

27-55 will never qualify as a "rivalry". If you want one try to win more games going forward. TIA
I agree 100%. Alabama's top 2 rivals are Auburn and TENN. I have maintained that over and over again with my fellow LSU posters here.

Who gives a F if anyone considers it a rivalry game. With that said, it is, year in, and year out, the biggest regular season game for both schools since 2010.
Since 2010, how many times has Bama had their bye week prior to the LSU game compared to Tenn and Auburn. How many times has CBS chosen to put the Bama - Tennessee game in prime time compared to the LSU - Bama game.

It's not YET a "rivalry game". Yes, Bamas rival games are UT and AU. LSUs rival game is Ole Miss.
Does that have anything to do with whether the respective teams are scared of taking an L in that game? Hell no! It's about tradition.
Who is Bama concerned about as far as their path to the SEC West/SEC/Playoffs? LSU. No question. No debate.
Nick making sure they have the bye prior to playing LSU should make it as plain as day even to those wearing Bama rose colored glasses. There is really only one West team at this point that can throw a monkey wrench in Bama's plan, and it's LSU.
So rivalry? Maybe not. Only game they're genuinely worried about? No question. Deny it if you want to.
