Marcus Freeman is an extremely likable guy. He converted to Catholicism, leads by example and reinstated the tradition of Mass before games. The way he answered the ridiculous question from Molly McGrath was the perfect example as to why he is so universally liked. He makes Notre Dame easy to root for.

He also isn’t a smug a-hole who killed a kid.

Why does this board insist on using a dead kid to troll a football coach?

It’s not trolling. Brian Kelly is an unlikable a-hole. You just don’t care because he coaches your favorite team.

Does anyone else love Chinese food but find they’re hungry again 30 minutes after eating it?

Am I right?

I don't really care if you like him or think he's an arsehole, I just don't understand why you have to use a kid's death to troll.

My Dad taught me to hate them because of "1969" . I didn't ask questions, I just hate them like a good son would do.

Good analogy! I hope not though.

The LSU fans I know like Notre Dame. There is the Catholic Faith that they have in common. Obviously they want to beat the Irish when they play each other but otherwise they are ND fans.
No hatred that I see. Far from it.

Once again, not trolling. Just pointing out evidence to support the statement he is an a-hole.

What I stated was a fact.

If he, in fact, "killed a kid", explain how he wasn't even officially implicated in any wrongdoing?

ND has always been overated. They've had great teams, yes but also overated.

Had their own major network before anyone. FUK N.D. and they somehow spanked UGA's arse...? UGA should be ashamed.

....and the year they sat on the ball for a tie game because they knew they'd get voted #1.

Why does anyone like Notre Dame? I think Freeman is a good dude, but Notre Dame unearned publicity and recognition the last 30 years has made me loathe that program.

Most years it's death, taxes, and Notre Dame being insanely overrated in the preseason.

We have a complex of some sort. I am not smart enough to diagnose it. We hired Kelly, who came in with an outdated plan on how to build LSU football from the HS ranks....this is not how it works anymore. Deboer isnt a bad coach, but he has a roster similar to Kelly, little depth and not enough players stick around to develop. But back to the point, Freeman is winning and Kelly was in the Texas Bowl. None of them watched the shite football played last night with terrible WR and DB play. How ND beat the shite out of UGA is beyond my comprehension, back up QB or no.
