More penalties than points. Just unbelievable.

Please just let this season end.

Trying not to melt, but I think the GOP has got to address voter turnout in off year elections. Sane people complain and are outraged about the rogue judges and school boards doing crazy things. The majority of those elections are held during off year elections...i.e. the 3 supreme court judges in PA that allowed the steal in 2020...all retained by huge margins because conservatives didn't vote. Mississippi losing the veto proof majority in the state house (granted there is a republican governor), Georgia flipping 2 red public service commission elections. There were 13 flips from red to blue in the VA state house. These elections matter and the GOP has got to do a better job of convincing their voters to show up more than every 4 years to elect a president.
Not surprised by Spanberger winning. But 7 red state house seats have been flipped to blue. The gerrymandering is going to wipe out several red US house seats. And, a guy who fantasized about murdering children to hurt their MAGA dad is winning AG. It’s a pretty bad night.

Bad night. Voter id is failing in Maine. State wide public service commissioners in GA are going 20 points to DEM candidates. The liberal judges in PA are going to survive. This country loves free stuff, trannies, and muslims.
I have no problem with any personnel decisions that have been made administratively or athletic related. He got done what 75% of this board has been clamoring for for months. Is he an idiot...debatable, but the outcome is fine with me so far.

re: Gov Landry Favorability hits low in new Statewide Poll

i participted in this poll. I was sent a text from JMC analytics with link to the poll. It asked a lot about potential future matchups for senate and governor as well as attitudes about Louisiana economy, level of optimism, primary problem facing state, etc.

I don't understand the nonchalant attitude and almost catering to the islamic movement. Broadcasting calls to prayer at all hours of the day in American cities, entire city administrations controlled by Muslims, sharia law being supported by people, training the military for islamic countries who are known to be supporters of terrorists. These are all people who have been allowed to come here legally and run for national office while openly pledging allegiance to their home country. It's insane.

Did Kagan give any indication of her thoughts? None of articles I have read even mention her.

Just start cracking down on the pot smoking on campus and that will help a lot. They have no problem giving out MIP citations.
Know someone in the President's Office and they say the phone has been ringing non-stop. People have had enough.

I guess he does have someone read his email. This situation has to be addressed immediately. The crowd control at the past few games has been non-existant.

Done. Also contacted university administrators as well and my local BR legislators.
Unfortunately, campus has become “da club” for local residents of BR. They crash on campus student events and pack the campus on game day. There was a DJ set up in front of the smoke shop just off campus across from Chimes. Huge crowds of teens and 20 something’s all over the street. The Baptist Collegiate building was hit by several stray bullets from the gun fight. Game Day crowd control is a very serious issue that no one seems to know how to address.

Thanks for the explanation on what's going on. I just emailed my state legislators to express my concerns about the gameday shootings. I urge everyone to do the same.
I encourage everyone to let the LSU Administration and Athletic Administration hear from you. It is the only way things are going to change. I work on campus. Yes, the student body is more diverse and “test optional” admission policies are an issue. However, the bigger problem is the surrounding community. Any time there is a free event for students or the campus community, it is swamped by non student residents of college age who come for the party. The campus has become “the club” where young teens from the community come to play. The back to school event is a perfect example. When it is an open street party it’s difficult to police who should be there or who shouldn’t. An event I was directly involved in strictly enforced student ID for participation and we were met with lots of aggression and very little back up from administrators who were afraid of backlash or accusations. LSU has to beef up campus security and unfortunately game day policies may need to be adjusted in terms of entry to campus.

Pretty sure I’m not renewing my season tickets. Sad because they’ve been in my wife’s family for over 50 years
I said the same thing tonight. Inherited tickets from family. Been in our family since the 1950s. Been thinking about it for a few years just due to traffic, parking, fees, etc. The ghetto-ization and active gunfire may be the final straw.

I don’t know what the solution is but something is going to have to be done. There were roving groups of n’er do wells all over campus. Openly smoking pot. It smelled like Woodstock all over campus. There was a brawl in the section next to us during the game. The Baptist Student building on corner of highland and chimes was hit by flying bullets. Can the National Guard work game days?
