So why didn't Sankey threaten to Alabama with sanctions when not only was Bediako rostered but he played?
LSU was not planning on doing something that hadn't been done before. Player gets court order that says they are eligible the player gets to play. It's just now Sankey has a problem with it.

LSU and Bama situations were totally different and you know that. If you want to make it apples to apples, take all the football shite out of the equation. The SEC wouldn't be trying to kick LSU out the conference over RJ Luis Jr. LSU is where it's at because they basically said, "frick you" to the conference and it's rules. Rules that your school president voted yes to.

really a guy that choose to leave college basketball early went pro and now decides to come back? I would say that is exactly what the SEC wants to stop from happening.
I don't think Luis should be eligible and I understand the case why Wright and Thomas should get another year of eligibility.

if pro players were always against league rules, why would bama knowingly recuit, sign, pay and play a pro basketball player. its willful

Can you post the rule before the new rule was enforced on Aug. 25th? Y'all keep saying Alabama broke the same rule but the only thing I can find on it, is the NEW RULE which was put in place on August 25th of 2026. If Alabama broke the same rule, why the need for a new rule?

For sure, LSU's timing was off. They should have done this a week before the season so they could have taken advantage of the lag between legal ambiguity and response from the conference.

The conspiracy theories are moronic and it really isn’t about LSU.
Conferences, and the SEC in particular, are trying to legally define the rules AND legally show that they can enforce them.
That is the purpose of the lawsuit.
