Anyone? Still 6 years to pay him out. Why fire him 4 games in?

Because one thing everyone knows is that the LSU athletics administration is incompetent at coaching decisions.

Did you see the Auburn game? Wisconsin game?

0 points in the 4th qtr this year.

November the past 2 years...

It was time. LSU was looking at a half empty Tiger Stadium at kickoff this week vs Missouri.

Because LSU had just won their super bowl at season end, complete with Les getting carried off the field. It's been several months now since they beat A&M, so the fanbase is unsettled again.

The powers-that-be got tired of people yelling in their ears that THEY were worse than morons because a moron was stealing millions from them by impersonating a football coach.

They got sick of hearing it and decided to put a stop to the Grand Larceny of the Century.

Apathy had set in, if they didn't do something it was going to hit LSU in the pocket book. Half full stadiums, potentially no bowl game, etc.

After auburn, Les refused to fire Cam again, so LSU ditched them both.

i think the A&M game reaction confused the higher ups. It was a thank you moment and not a please stay moment. He should have been gone last year.
