It's all incestuous up there. They will lie and cover for each other like you've never seen. Starting with Barry Tramel on down, they are thick as thieves.

What do you want OU to do? Forfeit the game to you after the fact, even though we won? I'm sure Auburn would do exactly that
Posted on 9/22/25 at 3:06 pm to Iron Balls McGinty
How many times do we have to explain this to you?
Posted on 9/22/25 at 3:11 pm to Iron Balls McGinty
It wouldn't have been an issue if the refs would have acknowledged the Auburn coaching staff jumping up and down screaming "timeout" to no avail.
Posted on 9/22/25 at 3:12 pm to Iron Balls McGinty
Because you’re cheaters

If this is true, I would highly bet that they simply asked if a WR is allowed to line up in bounds near the sideline, not if he is allowed to pretend to be out of the play walking to the sideline to substitute. If any official statements come from OU about receiving prior authorization (doubtful) I feel like the SEC office has an obligation to publicly respond.
I have just as big of a "deception" issue with QB's who appear to be giving themselves up out of bounds along the sideline only to toe touch 5 more yards. The fake slide rule eventually had to be added due to similarly taking advantage of player safety rules.

OU checked three times with officials about the Sategna touchdown and was told it was legal every time.
1. During the week in practice
2. Before the game
3. Before the play
Is this the official word for word account of what occurred straight from a named OU coach/official or some tweet from some OU writer? Because i see no source from the tweet.

If he’s so bad, why did you have to cheat?

I bet this was crooked pinky's idea, not Venables

This makes so much sense that it will never happen...
All these people who are raising hell with OU for doing the play should settle down if OU actually got the o.k. on running this play.
And the SEC conference office could certainly verify this without any issue I would think.

Damn Lies.

Take the win and shut up. The more you talk about it, the more it looks like you have a guilty conscience.

He asked the Ref if he was lined up…just like most receivers DO! So, if he was doing something wrong the SEC REF should have told him! Effin UTERUS! Can’t stand y’all!!

I still think we should have saved that play for those damn Texans
You were in a dogfight against a below average team at home and needed to pull out all the stops and cheat just to get the go-ahead score in that game. You will need to have next-level cheating to score enough to beat Texas.

Of course, this is the truth. Okies don't just cheat. They cheat and lie.

Cheaters don't check in with authorized enforcement personnel if the actions they're about to take are illegal even once, much less twice, and even while they're in the process of doing the deed, loser.
Good try.....
Good try.....

Auburn fans don't seem to be interested in actual, factual data.
Well, Auburn fans, the national media, every fanbase except OU's, and the SEC office. Other than that..........

I'll give you props on how delusional about the rule you are and how fervently you argue your ignorance.

I'm not delusional about "teh rule"
I've clearly stated this is an SEC officiating competency problem, and nobody else's. Certainly not ours, as we acquired their approval and did our due diligence in advance.
I'm correct.
You're just still in your feels and want to spin a different narrative against any and all factual information, and it's okay. That's what ice-cream and chick-flicks are for.

Until OU confirms this with what they actually asked, pure here say. Regardless, nobody is arguing the competency of the crew. In fact, you are making our argument for us.

There she goes again, love the ignorance. Keep it going.

What facts would those be? It was a confirmed illegal play that the incompetent refs missed. It is embarrasing that the crew missed it. What am I spinning?
