And fans were calling for his head. Whats your point?

This thread is a perfect example of the disconnect with reality that A&M fans have. They really think they are a top tier program. It's equal parts sad and funny.

That's simply verifiably false.

Take this report:

Brett McMurphy

In the tweet, he verifies that the numbers report by Liucci were confirmed by his own sources.

The "sources" was Liucci. There's a reason you couldn't get a single verified source locally or nationally to go on record saying that dumb shite. One of my oldest friends is a pretty prominent writer that covers LSU and the Saints. We talked about this when it came out and everyone understood the info came from Liucci. The only person that wrote a story about it with any local ties was Dellenger for SI. The other people that make a living covering LSU didn't even bother with the story.

8-5 is mediocre. 9-4 is a good team.

How did miles do in 2010, 2011, 2012 etc?

He just spent four years rebuilding A&M's program which culminated with a top 4 finish and #1 recruiting class so far, and he knows those are positive, meaningful steps towards the goal of winning an SEC title.
The baws downvoted this but there is some truth to this.

Where Jimbo had A&M at the end of the 2021 season is in a better position than where Orge had LSU's program at the same point in time.

No one ever said Jimbo was smart. Have you heard him speak?

He didn’t. I know that perpetuating that lie makes you feel like your 8-4 year-in year-out coach has value, but maybe y’all would have more than one 10-win season this millennium if y’all focused more on yourselves and less on convincing everyone that you’re in the same league as Texas and LSU

Except LSU and Woodward said a few time Jimbo was never offered or even marginally considered for the job?

You really don't keep up on current events, do you?

The facts are that Jimbo and/or his agent talked with LoSerU and Scott Woodard three times before and during the season last fall, including a $125 Million dollar deal for 8 seasons. This is a fact. The offer was made several weeks before they told O that he was getting the boot. It was also long before LoSerU and A&M played last year.

Try to keep up.

**all of this according to noted Aggie, Billy Liucci, who also tried to break the news of Brian Kelly's contract but ended up being completely wrong.

Correct. There's no way lolpoors had the money to offer Jimbo anything close to $13 Million.

I'm a Tiger fan. But I was coming to say how much nicer it is to live in Texas. It's hard to argue with the healthcare one as well!

I actually believe its because we pulled out of the deal the first go round. After Alleva screwed it up, I think Jimbo’s interest in LSU faded. I’m also not 100% certain that LSU was sold on Jimbo this past coaching search.
