I read that they wanted to go in a different direction and were both wanting to part ways.

I looked it up when They were playing OM .. still think espn or someone wanted the Miami/Georgia matchup

I mean we'll never know the exact reason he left, but it was thought that he was a primadonna in the locker room.

Also Miami payed him 4 million which obviously we didn't match

Also he had to have elbow surgery. I don’t think he even threw a football until summer camp. He was offered $4M without knowing how he’d recover.

No college player is worth $4 million right now. You need depth and cannot blow your budget on 3 or 4 players. Unless you have a name like Manning you cannot generate valid NIL to pay for it.
