Seems like the Will Muschamp scenario all over again, they hired a guy that already proved he can’t win in this league but at a worse program.

What’s his contract look like?

He's a great coach according to WG Dawg.

Seems like they would at least try to make money off it, tons of talent in the area. But maybe they’re trying to be a football-only school. Pretty dumb.

It's because they don't cheat like everyone else. Also according to WG Dawg.

Miles won a national championship, not a good comparison. White never won shite.

Kansas hiring Weiss is in no way similar to Georgia hiring Florida’s failed coach.

You’ve thrown out two names that make no sense in this context so I guess I’ll wait til morning. Sweet dreams.

It was a context of you hire a coach who is either washed up or not a great track record but you don’t care because you’re perennially bad and the coach is still a step up to you

White was an improvement and had to dig UGA out of a hole.

You can ask why we didn't try to go with a bigger name (as if the Crean experiment was a colossal success)

I think it is compared to Chad Morris contract.

I think Mike White will be able to lift us out of our Crean-induced era of total incompetence and back into the Fox era of being an NIT program and, in good years, being a bubble team and competing for a final at-large spot.

It’s entirely possibly that White was the best that we could do, or the best that we wanted to do. We had a good season considering where we were a year ago, but I’ll be interested to see how much we continue to improve after we become a 7-11/8-10/9-9 program again.
