They have quarterbacks. They just have an awful offensive system and are awful at developing quarterbacks. I think it’s clear now he just got lucky with Jamies. The rest of his career has been very sub par.

The "QB Whisperer" is in his 5th season at A&M and is forced to start Ed Orgeron's backup quarterback.

Just like Les Miles: all the starting QB's are 4 and 5 Stars. The offensive system is just fricking awful.

We have Connor Weigman.

Dude is legit.

But Jimbo is old school and refuses to start true freshman QBs.

Max and Haynes are holding Connors towel next year.

You said the same thing about King. King was probably a good QB until Jimbo got ahold of him

Until Jumbo screws up Connor, too.

Jameis was the outlier by far. I think we can put the “Jimbo is a good QB coach” talk to rest.

"QB Whisperer

Y'all keep referring to Jimbo as the QB whisperer. Is that what he was at LoSerU? I have never heard an Aggie call him that.

His Aggie bio literally refers to him as a "quarterback whisperer."

Conner Weigman will start next year and Aggy will be dangerous. It's going to be fun to watch.

Valid question. Another would be why can't the horns get a QB that isn't made of glass?

I have never actually read that. Kudos to you for reading that long narrative. I have never in my life read a coaches narrative from another team.

quote:

In 2000, Fisher joined Nick Saban’s staff at LSU as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. LSU made seven consecutive bowl appearances, won two SEC titles, went 70-20 and won the 2003 National Championship while Fisher was the Tigers’ offensive coordinator. Fisher was a finalist for 2001 Frank Broyles Award, presented annually to the nation’s top assistant coach.

Fisher developed a reputation as a perceptive play-caller and a quarterback whisperer.

Just like I thought, LoSerU was referring to him as a QB whisperer.

He has not done a whole lot of whispering lately. I think he kinda gave that up when he became a head coach instead of an OC and QB coach.

Most of the quarterback whisperer stuff started at Florida State.
