Two degrees from UA for me, two for my wife, two for my daughter and three for my son - too much money invested to cheer for anyone else.

My great grandfather, grandparents, father, aunt ,uncle, cousins, and I all went to Tennessee. Johnny Majors sent me a blanket when I was little, which I still own.
Plus I was born and raised in Florida and I'm contrarian by nature.

Its generational, the soft a in front of whooo started a few years ago, you go back to Uncle Jerah's time and they call the hogs in a farm scenario type call, which was done at random during the games, which is why he sounds dyslexic when he's saying sooie pig on national tv.

I have high self-esteem, so I figured I'd cheer for a team that would be no help whatsoever in that regard.
Also, I'm a second generation graduate of my school, so there is that.

Ah ok, that makes sense. Always wondered why Jerruh sounded so different to me when he did it compared to other, younger Hogs
Thanks

Thanks

The question is, how jealous are you that you aren't a Razorback fan?

Cry me a river with that recent baseball national title. That is almost better than a basketball national title on the Rant.

You represent well. And I appreciate Vandy, the smartest little bro school ever!

The Rant loves whichever sport their university is currently best at. We're just riding high on the fact that a third of the SEC is in position to get to Omaha. They love themselves, so they have to love us since we're getting it done in the same sport.

Also, if you don't mind, I'm going to steal that image. I've never had an avatar or a sig here, but I just might make an exception for that one.

I graduated from Auburn. So I am also a fan of Auburn.

All of that is true and can be true in parallel in truth to what I said. Many SEC teams are good at baseball so annually it is a major sport on here. Basketball (post-bowl) season is a much slower period. Narcissism is a necessity to knife your way through a knot as you know oh knowledgeable one!

Knock yourself out!

Here it is on a site the Rant prefers for that sort of thing:

If you aren't a graduate or currently attending the school you cheer for you are a trashy person

You know someone has little brother syndrome when theyre so obsessed with the other team that they make a logo involving said team.

By all rights I should be a State fan. Everyone except my mom and one other relative, on both sides of my family went to and graduated from State. I was attached to my mom's hip until I started school. Whenever State would beat Ole Miss in any sports, I felt bad for her because she was always being ganged up on. So I became an Ole Miss fan. Not really sure when I made my mind up but it was when I was really young.
Up until probably 2011 I had been to more Mississippi State football games and I've still been to more State baseball games than Ole Miss games. My dad, brother, uncle and cousins used to try and go to at least one weekend game at Dudy Noble every weekend State had a home series. Was usually the Sunday game. I'm only the second person in my family to graduate from Ole Miss.

Became a fan as a preteen after watching the 2001 SEC championship game.

Graduate in my case. I was born in Alabama, military family, and moved all around the country. So I grew up cheering on the Tide. Not to mention my first football memories usually centered around Bear Bryant stalking the Bama sidelines.
Fate, however, landed me in this wonderful state. My family had owned farm property here since the 80's. 1880's that is, and I sort of settled down there. Went to the U of A and I fell in love with the University and Fayetteville.
I have lived here ever since, cheering on the Hogs in the good years, and the bad.

Graduated from both Auburn and LSU. I'm the first in my family to attend either school, so there was little influence pre-college.
