Why are people bashing Nate oats

Specifically auburn fans a lot of people are saying oats won’t be successful I don’t get it did people forget Bruce pearl didn’t have a winning season until his third year at auburn and he went 18-14. Nate oats had one his first year. in his second year he won the sec regular season and tournament title and went to the sweet sixteen. now he’s in a good position for his team to make the tournament for the second straight year in his third year he also has the number 5 recruiting class in the nation coming in next year. It doesn’t make sense oats is a great coach.

Probably because he has the same conference record as Vandy and South Carolina at the moment

I thought this was about oats. Pearl and oats stepped into very different situations, so I’m not sure the point of that comparison. Nevertheless, I think he swept Bama his third season.

I'm not bashing him, but he recruited talent that doesnt fit his system. And hasn't adapted well this season at all.
Hopefully next year's class will better fit his system.

A little misleading. Pearl had a total rebuild. Oats walked into a pretty good situation. Avery had recruited well, just hadn’t done anything with it. Oats first team had Herb Jones, Kira Lewis, and John Petty.
