Despite good food, both are awful states to settle down.
I guess if we are discussing public opinion/stereotypes, everyone assumes Alabama=racist, rednecks while Louisiana=drunk, cajun. Cajun is slightly better in this case.

Louisiana is different than any other state. Texas is a very individual state. The dominant mindset is independence and individualism. Louisiana has a collective mentality. If you live in Louisiana, you’re part of the family, and we value family more than anything else. It’s a very dysfunctional family, but it’s still family.
Texas people think you’re dumb if you leave Texas, but if you want to be dumb and leave, that’s your loss. Louisiana folks take it personally, like you left their family. That’s just the way it is. It’s what makes Louisiana so great and so crazy all at the same time.

No clue.... but why do grown ups put these KIDS high on a pedestal? Honestly, I'd have more respect for these, soon to be adults, if they would be honest. But I guess it's hard not to be a douche. If kids don't want to go to LSU, then just say that from day one. But for me... I'd give the coaches made props for just flat out telling a kid, "thanks but your aren't gonna work out for us" and be done.
