disagree but I’m sure that doesn’t matter to you. Well why do you think he's average? I see lots of similarities between Mac and Kyle.

He’s the same QB as he was last year when he threw two pick 6’s to Auburn when he was forced to win a game. He’s never had to stare at the defense and see them dropping 9 and getting pressure with two and still complete balls. Bama has a run game and the best oline in America to keep him on schedule. Trask has none of this. What Trask is doing is incredible and people won’t realize until they see him in the NFL and Emory at UF next year. Wait till you see the drop off.

Because I know the QB position and what I see on film. I made the same exact argument for Burrow over Tua last year after the Texas game.

As far as the QB position Tebow can’t hold Kyle’s jock. If Tebow played today he wouldn’t win a Heisman.

So you are going with the “players can’t improve unless they are Florida players” routine? You aren’t shy about being a homer.

How did trask did when he was forced to beat anm? Surely he didn’t Fumble.

Trask didn't fumble against A&M. One of the RBs did.

Maybe so. The interceptions against AU last year..the first was an overthrow of an open receiver into the hands of the DB. The 2nd, he was hit while releasing the ball which effected the throw. He's gotten much better since then and maybe you don't watch Alabama as much as I do.
I don't disagree about Trask. I think in comparison they are very similar and like I said in a previous post, the winner of the SEC will most likely take the Heisman.

As compared to Lawrence and a few others... I'd say your correct. But you can't be 100% sure. But I answered the OP's question.

Mac Jones isn’t even in the same stratosphere as Mahomes. I’m actually arguing the opposite. Mac Jones would be average at best if he were UF’s QB. The Chiefs weren’t winning SB’s before Mahomes. Bama has.

I created an extreme hypothetical to show the difference between a most valuable player award and most outstanding player award. I was not comparing Mac Jones to Patrick Mahomes in ability. Whether the Chiefs won the Super Bowl before Mahomes is irrelevant to the hypothetical. The point of the hypothetical is that the Chiefs roster would win the National Championship with Mahomes or Henne playing quarterback. That wouldn't stop Mahomes from being the most outstanding player.

And jones leads him in every other category but that.
Every other lead is extremely close except for touchdowns and Trask is running away with it right now.

Plus our rbs have at least 20-25 tds and florida does not.
Yeah Trask is having to carry Florida. Mac throws a slant to Devonta or a screen to Najee and they go for 60. Weapons everywhere.

Their numbers are extremely similar except touchdowns and Trask is smoking Mac there. Sorry that, that hurts your feelings

LOL, are we doing this again? It's not even close to true. Much less true than it was about Tua.

Homerism at its finest. Your choice not to consider all statistics. Only
TD passes. They're virtually equal
Except TD passes, AND QB rating. Trask
With the lead in TD passes. Jones
In Qb % rating. Over 76%. Right under
Burrows from 2019. He's not had a bad
Outing yet. More importantly, He's
Undefeated unlike Trask. That said
These 2 teams continue on pace the
SECCG winner is the Heisman winner

I'm not sure Alabama beats Ole Miss or Georgia with Bryce Young
