No. No. I believe the only instrument in existence is the clarinet. The world is also flat.

Now, what kind of chick does the male clarinet player pull?

You a tuba guy?

Regardless how awesome they can be when pumping up a crowd...a large majority of them run full speed to lunch like they are about to die of starvation, hiss at you, and play ninja in the courtyard...they knew they were weird and embraced it too...went out of their way to show everyone they were weird.

Nothing against them, but that's the answer to your question.

Benny Goodman's wife was pretty good looking.

Because most band kids are
- In other AP classes
- Introverts
- Only hang out with each other and are awkward among others
- Do other geeky things like D&D, MtG, etc

Also, Band is a bigger cult than the Mormons.

I played trumpet one year and alto saxophone for three years... I guess I did blow into something for a year... I kind of regret stopping the trumpet. But the woodwind band class had all the chicks though.

I’m a lot more worried about people that judge band kids, than the actual band kids.

Let's see you stereotype black people now.

Lol. One of the football players at my high school played the flute. He didn't have any problems pulling the chicks.

Like I said I never went to a camp, and I hardly ever practiced. I was only in concert band.

Was rocking out to the band at the fan thing and it was awesome. After it was over everybody was cheering for them as they went back to their hotel.

To a person they looked nerdy as fricke. But they are still cool.

One of my best friends was in the tiger band, dude was cool, but also nerdy. I assume they are all like that.

It's kinda like football. The best get to go from high school and play in college. The vast majority of high school kids that play instruments in the band are definitely nerds. There may be 2 or 3 kids that aren't cripplingly socially awkward and good at playing their instruments and they get to audition to play for big schools.

They're all still nerds but just like everyone else, get to come out of their shells away from parents in college and maybe frick a golden girl or two

I played football and was in band. Never went to band camp, either. I was always in Concert band, but marched my Junior and Senior years (only in contests). They left my spot open on Friday nights.

When I was in Junior High, the High School band marched in the Macy's parade...2 years after I graduated, they went to London and played for the Royal family. I only got to go to Florida a few times and play in contests across the Southeast.
