Georgia has risen in academic quality, actually. I was, in all honesty, surprised by this, as i was expecting it to water down the quality just as you Aubbies are saying. It didn't happen, though, and Georgia has become a better school.
Now, I'm not totally sold that it was because of the Hope, or other factors, but all you have to do is look at academic rankings, and I don't think Auburn wants to do a comparison of the two schools.

They are actually virtual twins as far as football is concerned. Georgia has the lead in almost every category, but they are close enough that it is almost immaterial.
