Who’s the better program in 2028? Oklahoma or Arkansas?

Heupel will be in his third year but both programs can’t recruit compared to the rest of the SEC

Hopefully Arkansas has left for the Big 12 by then.

Kind of a weird specific year to choose, but I'm going with blowU, but only by a slim margin if VB is still coaching there.
They still have the fertile recruiting grounds of DFW and all of North Texas even if their Cali pipeline has dried up a bit. To me it seems they just need a QB, couple elite WR's and someone who can call a decent offense on the fly.
Guess you could say the same about Arky, but their Texas recruiting suffered a bit with the move to the SEC, and won't get better having to compete with 4 SEC schools (Texas, aggy, OU, LSU) for elite Texas HSFB recruits. Of course recruiting Texas and elsewhere in the region could increase if the hogs show signs of life and a bright future ahead...but it's the classic chicken before the egg catch 22.

Who knows? There will be different players, different coaches, different fans.

LOL Huepel in his 3rd year. I cant imagine he'd ever leave TN for OU. But, if the great baby Jesus can make that happen...I'd be soooo very happy.

Heupel was the QB for Oklahoma's NC in 2000. The most recent one to their name. I'm not saying he would for sure leave, but I'm not sure why you're so confident that wouldn't happen. It's more than likely he'd take the chance.

I guess we’ll be like mizzou then. Man that sucks.
Give these 2 teams mizzou’s schedule and we aren’t talking about this and with our schedules drink is on the hot seat. He couldn’t pee a drop with the cakewalk he had.
Preseason top 10 and dropped off the map, again, and your program is beating their chest over it……..ahahahaha….
Next year should be fun, right….haha

Yeah, Arky is a weak spot in our schedule every year. Too bad at Arky, you don't get to play yourself every year, hey?

And at Arky, your AD should be on the hot seat for not ejecting Pittman from the hot seat into the unemployment line.

Yeah, I'm sure the schedules are what's responsible for Missouri clearly being a better program for the past decade.

Yes he was...he was also the OC that y'all fired in 2014. Some people hold on to these types of things for internal motivation and what not. Maybe all is forgiven and he'd gladly go back if offered, but I don't think so. Plus TN has as much and prob more resources than OU....so they wont let him go without a fight. Thats a rabid fanbase that suffered miserably for 20 plus years of suck in in the football dept.

OP is high. Heupel is at Tennessee for the foreseeable future.
Oklahoma is a better program historically, presently, and into the future…

Why does absolutely no one in this country respect your program? No one.
The only 3 loss sec team absolutely no one mentions. How’s that possible?
Explain that and we can talk about it.

Heupel isn't coming to Oklahoma as long as Bob Stoops is still hanging around OU.
He wasn't too happy when he got canned by Stoops. Especially with the way it went down.

Notice OP didn’t specify where Heupel was coaching.
Let’s just assume Arkansas for maximum LOLz.
