Houston D is going to give Florida fits. I’m still going with Florida in this one though because of how strong the conference was this year

Hard to tell, they’re both 2nd half teams.

Gators have the talent, but so does Houston. Should be a good one.

A 14 point second half lead is not safe for either team!

If Florida and Houston both play at the level they have thus far in the tournament, I would favor Houston by a couple of points. But it feels like Florida has one more gear that they were playing at late in the regular season/SEC tournament that they haven’t quite been able to recapture (Condon giving us something like 15/10 and Will Richard knocking down backbreaking thress).

My first thought is Florida should win this game.

However, Houston played the worst first half of basketball (for them) imaginable, couldn't catch up in the second half for what seemed like an eternity, and somehow found what it took to beat possibly the best team in the nation.

I'm gonna punt. Have no idea.

One thing I wonder is just how emotionally spent Houston was after that game last night.

It was like they won a national title. Wonder how they'll react coming back less than 48 hours later.

If Florida wins the rebounding battle, and has less than 12 turnovers, they should win.

If Houston wins either the rebounding or turnover battles, I don't see Florida winning Monday.

Well I’m saying Houston since they were my champ in the only bracket I did.

all depends on the guard play of that florida guard, who transferred in from Iona, who was phenomenal. if he can't light it up like he did, it'll be Houston.

Houston is relentles on both ends of the court with some good, experienced 3 point shooters.

But Florida has Steph Cur.... errrr ... Clayton, Jr.

UF by a whisker.

It will be very close and a slugfest. Tech played 'em both in close and intense contests. Both are tough, talented, and scrappy.

I'm gonna go with Houston by 2 but only because of state pride. Either way its going to be one of the best NC games in years.

Outside of Clayton I think frontcourt depth is our biggest edge, similar to our entire season. Looks like their frontcourt rotation is 3 6'8 guys. They're giving up a lot of size and need to contain 4 elite offensive rebounders all game, who will be bigger and fresher.

Auburn won the boards 1st half but were worn down and we dominated the 2nd. Hopefully that's how it works out again.

To your point. Emotional but also physical recovery. Tugler rolled an ankle and is a big rebounder for UH. Will be curious to see - after the Adrenaline wearing off, how is that physical recovery going to impact the rebounding battles.

Duke folded. They were better than Houston but choked. Think Florida is better as well but they won’t fold like Duke did.
