Ugay’s schedule is an absolute joke. As an LSU fan I sure do wish we could play in the east. UK, UT, usc, mizzou Fla???? It’s a cakewalk. Oh yeah I forgot about Vandy. Let’s take a look at their ooc schedule. Man up bitches.

It hasnt happened in modern CFB, so it would be unprecedented, but people also said we couldnt B2B.
This time is different because Nick Saban doesn't lose B2B to UGA. Plus Nick has gotten rid of what was hurting Alabama offense and defense. He was forced to make a change to get it over the hump. Then you have other teams making adjustments and more likely beat Georgia and Kirby Smart.

Right…. Massive upgrades lol

People also used to say saban doesn’t lose to uga, but then he did.

Perhaps it’s an upgrade, or maybe it isn’t.

Such as?

You lost to two East teams last year by over 20 points…

LSU went 1-2 against the east last season.
Tennessee hung 40 on you, Georgia hung 50.
You want that every year?

This is the biggest lie told about the game, but I have seen this level of false excuse making just a year ago with bama. Neither of y’all dealt with adversity as well as uga did.
That was some adversity you faced with that soft schedule. You guys had all season to rest and recover from injuries because you played no one. That SEC East is a murders row. At least Alabama and Ohio State played somebody.

Lol.
OSU played 3 top 25 teams last year in the regular season. They went 2-1. They played 4 on the season... went 2-2.
UGA played 4 top 25 teams last year in the regular season. They went 4-0. They played SEVEN on the season... and went 7-0.
So yeah, your soft schedule comment is kind of idiotic.
UGA's schedule last year (beating #2, #4, #6, #15, #16, #20, #23) was exemplary.

Tennessee was the only team you had played in the regular season that had a pulse and they were probably exhausted after big games with Alabama and LSU.
TCU was overrated so don't give me any crap about beating the #2 team.
You almost lost to Kentucky. If they had a little more offense, they would have won.
Georgia is lucky they played in the east and avoids all the good teams in the west. Georgia goes 10-2 in the SECW.

I may be the only guy on this board that knows where Grove City is located. You used to see more mullets in Grove City than anywhere else I had ever been. Driving through Grove City was Mullets on Parade, every day. Do the guys there still wear their mullets like they used to do?
As far as making the CFP last year, that bitch-slapping the sucknuts took from the Fighting Harbaughs was not exactly a ringing endorsement.

Whine and make excuses all you like... the facts are still the facts.
UGA played 7 ranked opponents last season. 5 before the playoffs were selected. Two of the three teams they played from the west were ranked. There were only 3 ranked teams from the west, so that means UGA played and beat two out of three. UGA also played 2 of the 3 ranked teams from the east (they couldn't play themselves).
How did UGA do against ranked opponents? You brought up some unranked teams, so let's talk about the ranked ones.
#2 - UGA beat by 58
#4 - UGA beat by 1
#6 - UGA beat by 14
#15 - UGA beat by 46
#16 - UGA beat by 20
#20 - UGA beat by 26
#23 - UGA beat by 41
Again, here's the reality... UGA played and beat 4 of the 5 SEC teams who finished last season ranked. They played one more ranked team in the regular season and two more in the playoff.
That's miles better than only having 2 other ranked teams in your conference and losing to one of them... which is what OSU did last season. UGA was MUCH more tested last year, the reason you don't think so is for the most part UGA demolished the opponents in those tests. You should be happy that OSU was the only one UGA didn't crush.
Did UGA sleepwalk in some games against lesser opponents? Sure. They had to wake up and come back late to beat Mizzou and snoozed to a win over Kentucky. UGA shined against better teams and slept against scrubs. But they played a LOT of better teams.
OSU on the other hand demolished their cupcakes and didn't do that great against better teams, losing to UGA and Michigan and winning by less than 2 TD's to PSU and Notre Dame.
I'll take what UGA did every time. They played more teams with a pulse and dominated them.

Oh, Bullard's hit on Harrison was not targeting.

Only 2 teams in the west had winning conference records.
We beat the #1, #3, and #6 teams in the west.
The average score in those games was 45.6 to 19.6.
You just spew crap to keep the thread going?

The reality is if UGA and Bama swapped divisions, it wouldn't have impacted UGA much at all, except possibly making their schedule easier.
UGA would have played and run through everyone in the West aside from Bama. They already beat the top 2 remaining teams.
Bama would still have lost to UT even if they didn't play LSU, and UT likely would not play UGA so it would be a UGA/UT SECCG... with UGA simply swapping beating LSU and UT in the regular season/SECCG. If they played SC cross division they'd have effectively the same schedule. If not they'd play fewer ranked opponents.
The fact is unless UGA played Bama cross division, playing in the east was harder for UGA than the west.
SC/UF/Mizzou/UK/Vandy > Ole Miss/AU/Arkansas/A&M

It’s the same Ohio State Fans who told me Tedd Ginn would have single-handedly beat us in 07 if he didn’t get hurt. A game we won by 4 touchdowns.
I don’t know why y’all respond to this dickhead. Ohio State gets to the big game, loses in blowout or heart wrenching fashion, and then proceeds to make excuses. Rinse and repeat for the last 2 decades now.

I have not seen a mullet in years unless they were wearing a Kentucky or WVU shirt.
Grove City is a nice place. It has been good for me. Have You lived here?
You guys better be grateful Michigan lost in the semi-finals since they bitch smacked us and you guys barely squeaked by us.

Because he thinks he's "winning" when all he is doing is entertaining us with his excuse making.
Like I said to the Bama fans last season... the more you make excuses for Bama losing to UGA, the more I get to talk about UGA winning a national title. There's no negative for me. I'm not the one excuse making, I'm the one who gets to constantly remind everyone how my team is the best. All the Bama fans last year and OSU fans this year are doing is giving me reason to talk about UGA being better than everyone else.
Think about it... if Bucki wasn't here giving me reason to post about how awesome UGA is at football, I'd have to talk about our basketball team.
No thanks.
