Took 2 star wide receivers, 2 drops in the end zone and over 5 drops overall to finally beat Alabama for the first time in 15 years. And you see what happens when Alabama either gets handicapped or doesn’t hate keep Georgia because of some dumb shite in the west ala Auburn or LSU.
Basically the answer is you have to have a healthy passing game to keep up (with almost all the good teams). Bama beat them in 2021 with a "healthy" WR core and Young. OSU played them tough and then lost their TE and Harrison.
That's how you beat any good team is make plays in space in the passing game

Well, again...Bowers and Mitchell, our TE and WR that caught those 2 fourth quarter TD passes only got in the lineup because of injuries earlier in the season. Bennett was the QB because Daniels had got hurt too. So, was our passing game 'healthy'? Heck, it was injured and 'unhealthy' all year long, but it didn't hurt us. Championship teams play through injuries and win anyway.

The letter "a," apparently.

UGA is going to the CFP even if they lose the SECCG (that is the only game they might actually get challenged).
There might be some teams that can compete with them in the CFP, but they have to be a strong favorite to win it all agian.

Uga overcame these type of injuries.
Bama and Ohio state didn’t.
Depth matters

Vols away in November has potential for an upset.

UGA didn't have nearly the injuries OSU did in that game
OSU was without their top 2 WRs, top 3 RBs and top TE by the time that game was in the 4th quarter.
It was never a shot at UGA and I don't know why people are acting defensive. It was that you have to have a competent passing game to beat UGA.

UGA was down the starting OLB: Nolan Smith (mostly played Jack but played Sam as well because he was just that good).
UGA was down starting RT (3 year starter): Warren McClendon
UGA was down our starting safety: Dan Jackson
Starting tight end Darnell Washington got hurt during the game.
That is down 2 first rounders and a second rounder in this year's draft.
UGA was down our 3rd string running back Andrew Paul.
Down our backup tackle Earnest Greene (which was a big deal for depth with Warren McClendon out).
Ladd McConkey, AD Mitchell, and Dom Blaylock were all hurt (and questionable coming into the game) but did play.

Why do buckeye fans lie so much? Both teams had key guys out. Same with bama 2 years ago. Uga just handled adversity far better.

Fsu will beat Georgia and win the whole thing.

You tell me why ESPN lead the charge to keep the Buckeyes out of the CFP after Ohio State went 11-1?
It is not paranoia, it is real.
You got me there Bucki. I did not know ESPN had a vote. The list of Committee members does not list ESPN and never has had them listed.
If ESPN lead the charge to keep the Sucknuts out they did a poor job of it. Sou Cal wet the bed so badly against Utah they could not have gotten the bid. That is what got you in the CFP. Tenn folding up and playing dead against South Car also helped you get in.
I was hoping Michigan would make it to the CFP champ game. That way Georgia could have had shirts printed with SEC Champs on one line, BIG Ten champs on another line and National Champs on the third line. That would have been neat, don't you think so, Bucki?

What about all those imaginary holds and facemasks from Georgia fans if you want to talk about liars? I never saw a fanbase whine so bad after a win.
You guys were lucky to have fewer players out and with lesser injuries.

Nice attempt at twisting the truth but You know very well what I was talking about. ESPN pushed the narrative that an 11-1 Ohio State was not CFP worthy and they did this to persuade the voters and the public.

If you cannot beat South Carolina or Utah you do not deserve to be in the playoff. Ohio State's body of work earned them a playoff spot.

To the victors go the spoils I guess.
I would hope the material the shirt was made of gave you a rash. JK

This is the biggest lie told about the game, but I have seen this level of false excuse making just a year ago with bama. Neither of y’all dealt with adversity as well as uga did. Next man up.

OSu got so lucky we lost studs like Nolan Smith and Dan jackson on D and McClendon and Darnell on O.

UT-Martin, UAB or Ball State will give them a game.
