Bottom line...nobody has any idea what will happen. The NCAA can do whatever they want. I'll say though I saw different NCAA during the cam scam. AU would have been fried 10 years earlier. Maybe u get off too.

In the early 90s when I was an undergrad, we (TAMU) went undefeated one season, yet were bowl ineligible.

When we got our two year bowl ban in the early 2000's, I couldn't watch any bowl games at all, even though we wouldn't have qualified for a bowl anyway in 2003. Those two seasons were just...hollow.

What violations are you taking about? $305 dollars? And an employee who was employed for less than a year under Nutt?

Lmao. How many times have we seen this same exact comment? It's almost like OM fans have been emailed the official talking points.

So for those who are keeping score at home, who has been wrong more times than not........The Ole Miss Denial team or those that have made several accusations, most of which either have come true.......or may still. Hope you understand the reason why most tend to side with the other guys instead of Team Denial.

Nothing will happen because the NCAA can't prove anything. They've been here digging for three years and can't come up with anything on current staff. If they did happen to find something they wouldn't do anything because the NCAA doesn't have the balls. They need us, we don't need them.

That's why the thread is pinned at the top of the board and there's 20-30 Ole Miss threads started on the Rant every day.. Because no one cares.

I said that no one really cares what happens to them and that we are all just laughing at them. That is why 99% of these threads start. Simply to laugh at them. My statement about nobody caring was directly in reference to the outcome of all this. Most of us really don't give a damn what the NCAA does to OM but we can still laugh at them about it.

They don't really have to have proof. They can do what they want. OM can either take what punishment the NCAA gives them or they can attempt to form their own league. Good luck.

So now we're at the "can't prove anything" stage, the next logical step from "we're clean"........

If you think the NCAA is going to show you their cards right now, you are sadly mistaken. Y'all said the same things on Tunsil's suspension.......wasn't doing anything, couldn't prove anything......and then BOOM........7 games and violations that we never heard before. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Just like it took a little while for Tunsil's stuff to get reported, should only be a few more days before we find out so much more........

Having a competitive Ole Miss is good for the SEC as a whole. However, I just don't see Ole Miss walking away with a few scholarships. As much as the Ole Miss fans are in damage control mode, I think this one is going to be bad for them.

If and when the NCAA administers the final verdict, it's likely either going to be a moderate melt or a full rolling boil for them. OM fans are optimistic that this thing blows over with minimal impact, and I've talk to some that absolutely believe next to nothing will come of this. We'll see.
